Dad deserves a day off and Phuc Yea is cooking up something just for him. Miami’s favorite Vietnamese-Cajun restaurant will be smoking pork shanks, giving dads all the BBQ feels but with a twist. Chef Cesar Zapata, will feature a special Vietnamese-Cajun “Al Pastor Taco” made with PHO spice, pineapple, house pickles, onions, fresh herbs, viet salsa roja served with tortillas, only available this Sunday for Father’s Day.

Dine-In is becoming more common these days, and Phuc Yea is excited to welcome locals back in safely.

Phuc Yea is reopening their dining room to the public this Friday, June 12th, 2020. Guests will be able to enjoy their favorite Vietnamese-Cajun cuisine in the heart of Miami’s MiMo district once again. Dine-In will be available for parties of 5 or less with spread out limited seatings to encourage social distancing. Additionally to their indoor seating, patrons can also score a table in their charming front porch, all while enjoying Phuc Yea’s flavorsome dishes, taking in some fresh air and scenic views.

Phuc Yea was created in 2016 by Co-Owners Cesar Zapata and Aniece Meinhold, Phuc Yea is Miami’s destination for premier Vietnamese Cajun cuisine. Wearing the hats of co-owner and Executive Chef, Cesar Zapata helms the kitchen, where he creates Phuc Yea’s signature Vietnamese-Cajun fare, and Ani Meinhold whos German and Vietnamese heritage bring a new take on Asian cuisine to Miami as she spearheads the front of the house, beverage programs, and design.

While Miami Children’s Museum’s facility is temporarily closed to the public due to current Covid-19 restrictions, it remains dedicated to serving the community and fulfilling its mission by being a beacon for South Florida families. The Museum has joined with Caleb & Calder Sloan’s Awesome Foundation and partnered with Farm Share, a leading statewide food profit, to help the less fortunate and hungry in our community with an Awesome Food Giveaway!

It is a contactless delivery system for a drive through pickup. Cars must enter the drive to the Museum and form a line. When it is their turn, they can pull up to the distribution point with their windows up and their trunks open. There will be food packages for up to 500 families on a first come first served basis. No walk ups will be allowed.

Dreaming of visiting a villa in the hills of Italy? So are we! Join us for a tasty trip where we’ll enjoy a delicious tour of homemade Italian favorites. From our mouth-watering Chicken Parmesan to decadent Wild Mushroom & Truffle Oil Risotto, we’ll top it off with perfectly sweet Cannoli leaving everyone cheering for more. Grab a friend and your favorite wine as we learn that you don’t have to fly across the globe to get the fresh taste of homemade Italian cuisine.

This year’s South Florida Emerald Society’s Irish Stew Cook-Off opens its doors to those who enjoy a hearty Irish Stew on a fun-filled day in Miami at the Miami Yacht Club with sweeping views of Biscayne Bay.
Participants will get the chance to sample a delicious variety of entries. Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, as well as to the cook with the best presentation.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children in cash or checks made payable to the South Florida Emerald Society. Members and cooks will receive 2 tickets for beer, wine, or soda.
