Cost: $15 online from September 2 through October 19, $20 at the door. $10 for additional raffle tickets.

An estimated one in eight U.S. women is expected to develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. While these statistics are alarming, individuals and organizations across the nation continue to do their part to fund vital research seeking a cure. This October, Blue Martini Fort Lauderdale is teaming up with AutoNation, America’s largest automotive retailer, to raise awareness for breast cancer as part of a month-long charitable drive, marked by a new signature event, the Rosé Garden Party on Saturday, October 19, from 8 to 11 p.m. at The Galleria Fort Lauderdale location. Proceeds from the ticketed event, which will feature live entertainment, drink specials and raffles, plus sales from specific drinks all month long, will benefit the Dolphins Cancer Challenge.

Throughout the month of October, Blue Martini Fort Lauderdale will donate $2 for every signature pink cocktail and $2 for every glass of Maison Belle Claire Rosé that is sold to the Dolphins Cancer Challenge. The Dolphins Cancer Challenge (DCC) was founded in 2010 by the Miami Dolphins organization as the signature initiative of the Foundation’s health area. The DCC’s mission is to improve people’s lives through financial support for innovative cancer research at South Florida’s only academic-based cancer center – Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, part of UHealth — the University of Miami Health System. Since its inception, the DCC has raised more than $27.5 million, donating 100 percent of participant-raised funds to the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. AutoNation is a proud sponsor of the event.

This month-long effort coincides with AutoNation’s partnership with The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale. Starting October 1, two gigantic pink reindeer will be prominently displayed throughout the entire month on the exterior of the mall to signify National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A pink themed vehicle will be displayed with the reindeer. This partnership underscores AutoNation’s commitment to driving out cancer. Through its DRV PNK Intiative, the company has raised more than $20 million for cancer research and treatment, placing its iconic pink plates on every vehicle it sells and services from coast to coast.

The month-long fundraiser will be marked by the Rosé Garden Party, a festive soiree featuring signature sips and culinary treats, plus raffles for designer giveaways and spa packages from sought-after brands and premier experiences.

Admission for this ticketed event includes entrance, a glass of Rosé or a signature Pink drink and a raffle ticket. Tickets are available to be purchased online for $15 from September 2 through October 19 at www.rosegardenpartyftl.eventbrite.com. Tickets are also available for purchase at the door for $20. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased for $10 each. Fifty percent of proceeds from the pre-sold online tickets and 100% of proceeds from the raffle tickets will be donated to the Dolphins Cancer Challenge.

It’s officially summertime, and Chef Paul Qui and his culinary team are firing up their grills for a Texas-style barbecue on Pao’s ocean-view terrace for an omakase cookout that will sizzle your senses.

Guests are in for ribs, brisket, chicken and crab prepared in creative ways by James Beard award-winning chef Paul Qui. “Chef Qui intertwines his Filipino flavors, and some of his Japanese techniques, with classic Texas BBQ ingredients,” says Benjamin Murry, Pao’s chef de cuisine. “This will definitely give diners flavors they’ve never had before and that’s what makes it so exciting.” Think smoked and charred, tangy and sweet—all the classic foundations and flavors of a southern barbecue—but with interesting twists.

The epicurean adventure will unfold around an intimate communal table where diners will enjoy a complimentary sake cocktail before diving into a multi-course menu. Binchotan-grilled specialties, inspired by the 2,000-year-old Japanese tradition of charcoal-based cooking, will be paired with optional flights of sake and Japanese whiskey.

With heavy hearts, we all shared in the loss of Sweet Liberty’s founding Father, John Lermayer, who was taken from us way too soon – just last year. John was the force and spirit behind Sweet Liberty, and an example of selfless and charitable action. A dedicated father, award-winning bartender, mentor, friend and die-hard New York Rangers fan, John was best known for his animated personality, enticing cocktails, his love for people, travel, and his son, Radek. It was John’s tireless work ethic and spirited personality that helped him create Sweet Liberty, a space that his neighbors and friends from all over the world can call home and a place to pursue happiness.

In honor of John, we will be celebrating his every-lasting name, inviting EVERYONE to join us at Sweet Liberty on Thursday, June 20th and Friday, June 21st, as we celebrate the life of John Lermayer and the proclamation declared by the city of Miami Beach. Starting Thursday, June 20th, come party with friends, family and pop-ups at the bar all night long. Beginning at 7pm, Sweet Liberty will play host to a rotation of internationally beloved food and beverage hotspot pop-ups, that are flying down their top bartenders to take over Sweet Liberty’s bar for the evening. Welcoming: Café la Trova (MIAMI), Basik (NYC), Katana Kitten (NYC), Ghost Donkey (NYC), Spare Room (LA) Occidental (DENVER), and special guest DJ who was also a long time and dear friend of John, Chris Bostick. Then on Friday, June 21st, the celebration continues with LIVE performances by Brendan O’ Hara and The Swayzees, followed by late night tunes with Reid Waters. Come pay tribute to John Lermayer’s life and legacy with us this weekend!
