Step into the imaginative world of Pepe Mar as The Bass celebrates the exhibition opening of El Gato Negro. Inspired by a nightclub from the artist’s childhood in Mexico, the installation transforms The Rotunda into an eclectic fantasy shaped by memory, migration, and belonging. Drawing from personal experience and imagined histories, Mar invites each visitor to journey through a space that reflects crossings, encounters, and communities that shape our identities.
