Coming to Boca Raton, Florida in Palm Beach County, Paletas Morelia will be moving its way up to the neighboring county. With beaches in the east and surrounded by golf courses, hotels, museums, shopping centers, and restaurants, the ice cream shop will surely feel right at home! Located in the Royal Palm Palace shopping mall at 125 Via Naranjas #45A Boca Raton, FL 33432, next to Yakitori Sake House and across the street from Cote France, guests can finally have a place to enjoy some sweet desserts have a full meal. We are bringing an experience that is more than just a popsicle or an ice cream. With the different amount of tasty combinations that the shop offers; our reviews on social media and Yelp (4.8 stars) states that Paletas Morelia gives the best experience!
What are paletas? Paletas are popsicles and Mexican Paletas are way bigger than normal ice pops, they are: hand-made, artisanal, and made with 100% natural ingredients. One of the first questions the ice cream shop gets when someone is visiting will surely be: “What are paletas made from?” Even though paletas may look like ordinary popsicles, this dessert is packed with a much larger punch that will make your taste buds dance. Morelia’s paletas are gourmet due to its top-quality ingredients; combined with both Italian Gelato and French Sorbet to give it that natural yet tasty flavor. Paletas at Morelia, are made from fresh natural fruits (such as Strawberry, Mango, Passionfruit, Pineapple, etc) or rich creamy ingredients (such as Belgian Chocolate, Sicilian Pistachio, Coconut, etc). The right mix of these main ingredients with secondary ingredients such as water, milk, condensed milk among others, opens up a whole world of flavor possibilities. Even though fruits are a common base ingredient for a typical Mexican paleta, milk-based ice cream paletas are also available. For those less interested in fruity flavors, our paleta shops also offer classic creamy flavor options (such as the Belgian Chocolate, OREO Cookies & Cream, Reese’s Peanut Butter, and Dulce de Leche filled with Dulce de Leche)!
To differentiate itself from other ice cream shops, the unique experience consists of the following process: 1) Pick it, 2) Dip it, 3) Top it. Among the store’s signature, craveable toppings are smores, marshmallow fluff torched, and Nutella drizzle. The shop offers over a million different combinations by adding dippings and toppings to enhance the ice cream experience and take the flavor to the next level. At Paletas Morelia, being creative and letting your imagination flow is highly recommended!
Guests can choose from up to 16 popsicle flavors including Pistachio, Passion Fruit, Belgian Chocolate, Banana filled with Nutella, and many more with several delicious dippings and toppings to top it off! All of Morelia’s paletas are Kosher certified by Kosher Miami (KDM).
Why the name Morelia? It is the capital city of the State of Mischoacán in Mexico, where it is believed the first paletas originated by people adding fresh fruit to ice and refresh from the high temperatures. The city of Morelia was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its well-preserved colonial buildings and layout of the historic center.
Since its first store opening in Coral Gables, Florida in 2016, Morelia Gourmet Paletas has worked hard to create The Best Ice Cream Experience in Miami. The chain now has nine locations in South Florida, six in the Dominican Republic, and one in Mexico. With two more locations on its way to Boca Raton, Florida and Charlotte, North Carolina in March of 2021, the ice cream shop continuously works on achieving its goal of bringing the best ice cream experience to the world.
Morelia Gourmet Paletas is excited to expand to other locations outside of South Florida and into new areas such as Charlotte, North Carolina. Morelia Gourmet Paletas hope to ensure more people can get creative and get The Best Ice Cream Experience!
