About Migdalia Figueroa
Vice President of News, NBC Miami
Migdalia Figueroa was named Vice President of News for WTVJ, the Miami NBC 0&0 Station in March 2012. In this role Figueroa oversees news content and growth strategy in all platforms.
Figueroa came to WTVJ from Telemundo Station Group where she worked as Senior Vice President of Content and Brand for the Telemundo 0&0. In this role she had oversight of local branding at all stations as well as of the local newscasts’ performance. Previously, Figueroa was Vice President of Content at WSCV Telemundo 51. During her time at the station, Figueroa developed the morning show “Buenos DÃas†as well as the station’s first daily entertainment program “Acceso Total.†While at WSCV, Figueroa elevated the station’s newscasts to experience substantial ratings growth and maintain leadership positions against all stations in the Miami market, regardless of language.
A winner of five individual and one station regional EMMY award, Figueroa began her broadcast journalism career as a news producer for the Univision station in New York. She had previously served as Executive Producer of WLTV’s newscasts, Executive Producer for Univision Online, and General Producer of “El Show de Cristina†before joining Telemundo.
Figueroa graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a degree in Communications. She resides in Miami, Florida with her family.
ABOUT ANDRE MATARAZZO

Andre Matarazzo started his career in São Paulo, Brazil at McCann-Erickson in 1997. His international career began in 2000, when he moved to Canada to work for Blast Radius. The following 5 years have been spent exploring different cultures around the globe and learning what are the universal triggers of great brand communication while working for Blast Radius in Holland, Farfar in Sweden and TYO-Id in Japan. In 2006 Andre returned to the motherland to start what is was dubbed as one of the 100 most creative digital shops in the world: Gringo.
In 2011, After amassing over 46 international awards and serving as digital AOR for several multinational accounts, including Coca-Cola Classic / Zero / Light, Burn, Windows Live, Absolut Vodka, Natura and Itaú, Gringo joined WPP’s newly formed interactions network Possible Worldwide as its Latin American arm.
In 2012, André became the Chief Creative Office for the Southeast USA at SapientNitro, the largest and one of the most prestigious digital agency in the USA, with over 10.000 employees spread across 36 offices around the globe.
ABOUT LUCIANA PAVAN
Vice President of Digital Media, The History Channel, A & E and Bio Channels
Luciana Pavan is Brazilian and started her career in the media industry in 1991, as a producer for Radio Shows in Sao Paulo, Brasil.
In 1995 she moved to Florida and earned an MBA from Barry University. In 1996, Luciana crossed over into investment banking and joined Goldman Sachs. Two years later she went back to media as a Marketing Manager for Nickelodeon Latin America, part of VIACOM.
Luciana left VIACOM in order to realize an old dream: to travel around the world. After 9 months travelling across 21 countries she went back to VIACOM, but this time in London working as a Commercial Development Manager for VH1, MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central for Emerging Markets (Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa). Three years later she was promoted to Senior Digital Media Business Manager.
After 6 years working in Europe she missed the Florida sun and, in 2009 moved back to Miami as a Director of Digital Media for The History, A&E and BIO Channels. In 2011 Luciana was promoted to Vice President of Digital Media.
ABOUT HIRAM ENRIQUEZ
Director of Digital Product Innovation and Business Development, Viacom
Hiram Enriquez is an experienced leader in the digital media space, combining a solid expertise in editorial and audience products with a strong passion for technology, innovation and digital lifestyles.
Hiram is currently the Director of Digital Product Innovation and Business Development for Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN)- The Americas. In this role he leads the planning and execution of the digital media strategy for Viacom properties in Latin America and the US Hispanic market, including Tr3s, MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central.
He previously worked as Digital Product Development leader for Univision Interactive Media, and is the former Programming Director for Yahoo! Hispanic Americas, where he oversaw the editorial operations of Yahoo! sites in Spanish. Prior to his arrival at Yahoo!, Enriquez was the host and producer of “Zona Digital,” a show he created for CNN en Español. In addition, Enriquez served as producer and correspondent for the news network’s business and finance shows, “EconomÃa y Finanzas” and “En Efectivo.”
A native of Cuba, Enriquez earned a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Havana and an M.A. in Communication from Georgia State University. He also attended graduate school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He writes a blog, Digital Stucco, on digital media and communications in the networked world.
