Bring the kids to Wynwood this summer for a free morning on the pitch. The For the Wyn Soccer Clinics welcome children ages 6 to 10 for hands-on sessions in a relaxed, encouraging setting, with drills, skills training, games and refreshments from local Wynwood vendors. Every skill level is welcome, whether your child is lacing up for the first time or already lives for the game.
Each session runs from 9:00 a.m. to noon and is open to 50 children, so families are encouraged to register early. Coaches focus on the fundamentals of passing, dribbling and teamwork while keeping the morning light and fun, the kind of low-pressure start that helps new players fall for the sport and gives experienced ones room to grow. Water and refreshments are provided. Kids should arrive in comfortable clothes and sneakers or cleats, ready to play.
The clinics are produced by the Wynwood Business Improvement District in partnership with the Lighthouse Foundation and Fútbol Sin Barreras, two organizations working to widen access to soccer for young people across Miami. The sessions take place on a site generously donated by More Development at 2045 NW 2nd Avenue, in the heart of the neighborhood.
The clinics are part of Let’s Wyn, Wynwood’s summer celebration of soccer, art, food and community running June 11 through July 18. Families can turn a clinic morning into a full day in the neighborhood, with museums, galleries, restaurants and family attractions just steps away. Nearby favorites include the Museum of Graffiti and its Art of Fútbol exhibit, the Paradox Museum, FunDimension, Puttery and Wynwood Walls. Visitors can also follow the Soccer Ball Art Trail, a series of hand-painted soccer balls by Wynwood artist Lili Cantero placed at businesses throughout the district.

·Recovery Month is a national observance that celebrates the fact that recovery is possible for everyone. This year’s theme, “Every Journey, Every Path, Every Person” recognizes the many unique ways people find and sustain recovery, honoring everyone’s journey and the hope, healing, and support that make recovery possible.
·Free and open to the public, the event will feature inspiring recovery speakers, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, wellness experiences, food vendors, community resources, and information from organizations working to support recovery and mental wellness throughout South Florida.
·This celebration is an opportunity to come together and celebrate recovery out loud, honor the courage of those on their recovery journey, support families and loved ones, reduce stigma, and spread hope to those who may still be struggling.
·All are welcome — individuals in recovery, family members, advocates, healthcare professionals, faith and civic leaders, and supporters.
·SFWN has grown from a grassroots effort into a trusted resource for those seeking connection, understanding, and support. Their mission is to create a peer-driven recovery community where individuals with lived experience in mental health, substance use, and trauma could support others on their journey to wellness. Bring the kids to Wynwood this summer for a free morning on the pitch. The For the Wyn Soccer Clinics welcome children ages 6 to 10 for hands-on sessions in a relaxed, encouraging setting, with drills, skills training, games and refreshments from local Wynwood vendors. Every skill level is welcome, whether your child is lacing up for the first time or already lives for the game.
Each session runs from 9:00 a.m. to noon and is open to 50 children, so families are encouraged to register early. Coaches focus on the fundamentals of passing, dribbling and teamwork while keeping the morning light and fun, the kind of low-pressure start that helps new players fall for the sport and gives experienced ones room to grow. Water and refreshments are provided. Kids should arrive in comfortable clothes and sneakers or cleats, ready to play.
The clinics are produced by the Wynwood Business Improvement District in partnership with the Lighthouse Foundation and Fútbol Sin Barreras, two organizations working to widen access to soccer for young people across Miami. The sessions take place on a site generously donated by More Development at 2045 NW 2nd Avenue, in the heart of the neighborhood.
The clinics are part of Let’s Wyn, Wynwood’s summer celebration of soccer, art, food and community running June 11 through July 18. Families can turn a clinic morning into a full day in the neighborhood, with museums, galleries, restaurants and family attractions just steps away. Nearby favorites include the Museum of Graffiti and its Art of Fútbol exhibit, the Paradox Museum, FunDimension, Puttery and Wynwood Walls. Visitors can also follow the Soccer Ball Art Trail, a series of hand-painted soccer balls by Wynwood artist Lili Cantero placed at businesses throughout the district.

This special event features pianist, arranger, and composer Vyacheslav Gryaznov in George Gershwin’s iconic Rhapsody in Blue, performed with Gryaznov’s own G-Phil Virtual Orchestra—an innovative project that brings the color and sweep of orchestral collaboration into an intimate recital setting.
The program also includes selections from Gryaznov’s acclaimed piano transcriptions, showcasing the artistry that has made him one of today’s most distinctive pianist-arrangers.
A graduate of the Moscow Conservatory and Yale School of Music, a Schott-published artist, and the author of more than 40 concert arrangements, Gryaznov brings dazzling virtuosity, imagination, and a rare symphonic sense of the piano to this Betsy performance.

Boyd Meets Girl brings together Australian classical guitarist Rupert Boyd and American cellist Laura Metcalf in a duo celebrated for its unusual blend of refinement, warmth, and stylistic range. Based in New York City, the ensemble has toured widely in the U.S. and abroad, with appearances at presenters and venues including Caramoor, Newport Classical, Festival Napa Valley, the Morgan Library, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Their recordings on Sono Luminus have reached millions of listeners, and critics have repeatedly singled out the duo’s musical unity and natural chemistry.
This program is curated as a conversation between tradition and reinvention. Boyd Meets Girl pairs the poised craftsmanship of Bach, Beethoven, and Ravel with contemporary voices, Brazilian-inflected color, folk resonance, and inventive arrangements of familiar songs by The Beatles. The OUTshine LGBTQ+ Film Festival Spring Edition presents its Centerpiece Film Maspalomas (Spain, 2025), a comedy-drama, at 7:30 p.m. on April 30, at the historic Koubek Center (2705 SW 3rd St) in Miami. An afterparty will follow the screening.
Seventy-six-year-old Vicente is finally living his truth. In the sun-drenched LGBTQ+ haven of Maspalomas, he spends his days cruising the dunes and his nights in the neon glow of the Yumbo Centre. But when a stroke leaves him partially paralyzed, he is forced back to his rainy hometown of San Sebastián. Placed in a conservative nursing home by his estranged daughter, Vicente retreats into the closet. However, an unlikely friendship with his ebullient, right-wing roommate and a secret digital life spark a quiet revolution. This poignant look at aging proves that the light of self-discovery never truly fades.

The OUTshine LGBTQ+ Film Festival spring edition returns April 23 – May 3, 2026! This year’s festival is proud to feature more than 20 international, North American and East Coast premieres from 20 countries across Miami-Dade and Broward counties! Adding to the excitement of the festival will be a special recognition ceremony for Academy Award-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, whose Rock Out (USA, 2025) film will be screening on Monday, April 27, at Paradigm Cinemas: Gateway Fort Lauderdale (1820 E Sunrise Blvd). Other special events, filmmaker panels and afterparties will add diversity to South Florida’s cinema scene.

Closing night on Sunday, May 3, at 6 p.m., at Savor Cinema (503 SE 6th St, Fort Lauderdale) will feature the international premiere of We’ll Find Happiness (Canada, 2025), an award-winning drama about how far one will go for love, followed by another first – a Community Block Party featuring food vendors, filmmakers, live performers, entertainment and more.

An American screenwriter, director, producer, and LGBTQ+ rights activist, Black won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay in 2009 for Milk, a biographical drama film based on the life of gay rights activist and politician Harvey Milk, who was the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in California, as a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. He also wrote the screenplay for the film J. Edgar and the 2022 crime miniseries Under the Banner of Heaven. Additionally, he worked on Big Love, Rustin and Mama’s Boy. Black served as a founding board member of the American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER). He played a pivotal role in the legal fight to overturn California’s Proposition 8, notably writing the play “8” based on the trial transcripts to raise awareness and funds.

Wet Ink is a visceral dance odyssey of becoming presented by RTWDANCE under the artistic direction of choreographer Randolph Ward. The evening features over ten South Florida artists spanning contemporary dance, ballroom and vogue dance, drag, art of pole dance, jazz vocals, and spoken word. Moving between fierce spectacle and quiet vulnerability, the evening explores identity, sexuality, agency, pleasure, and defiance.
Highlights include a 10 minute short dance film The Big Dig, World Famous Palace South Beach Miami drag legend CC Glitzer, a contemporary ballet male pointe solo, the 2022 multimedia piece Unconventional, and RTWDANCE crowd favorite A Vogue Extravaganza.
The performance runs 1 hour and each performance concludes with Unmasked, a post-show dialogue examining how we move beyond divisions that divide us into “us vs. them.” Must 18+ to attend

The Snake Head Project, a comedic reimagining of the Medusa myth, flips the familiar legend on its head. Long believed slain by Perseus, Medusa has in fact survived—living through the centuries and reemerging in the present day as a healer for women grappling with the aftermath of sexual violence. With wit, irreverence, and interactive theatrical flair, the play brings gods, mortals, and audiences into a sharp collision between ancient myth and contemporary reality. On Monday, April 6, 2026, collaboARTive will kick off Year 5 of Noche de Arte at InterContinental Miami.
For five years, collaboARTive’s Noche de Arte programming has offered Miami a welcoming space to connect through art, conversation, and community. Long before people started calling it soft socializing, this weekly gathering has made it easy for hotel guests, locals, and visitors to come together in a low-pressure, creative environment.
Each Monday, hotel guests and Miami locals are invited to make art, meet local creators, and enjoy a meaningful shared experience. In April 2026, we are especially excited to feature Alice Raymond as our Artist in Residence.

About the Artist
Alice Raymond was born in Paris, partly raised in Germany, has worked and lived in France, Sweden, then Miami since August 2009. She attended the Master programs in Art at University of Visual Arts in Bordeaux, and in Science of Language at the University of Grenoble, France.
Her work, based on social and cultural research, has been shown in cultural and educative venues in Europe and in USA, as the Hungarian Multicultural Center in Budapest (Hungary), the Harper College Gallery in Palatine (IL), the collective Projektraum Kunst in Potsdam (Germany), the Miami-Dade Public Library, the Alliance Française Gallery in Miami, the Castle of Châlus in France. She received a European Grant for the German Art Residency Art Aspects. Focused on socio-cultural issues, she started her photography series about urbanism and space occupancy.

Angel believes in the power of music to change lives – and is currently in a graduate program at UM pursuing credentials in Music Therapy.
BRANDON LEE LEWIS – Drums – has performed internationally with many esteemed artists such as Gil Coggins, Harry Whitaker, Frank Wess, George Mraz, Kenny Garrett, among others. He’s also performed on Award-Winning Broadway productions The Color Purple and Memphis and the feature film American Gangster. In addition to impeccable sideman work, he hosts a weekly Sunday night jam session, inherited from the great Harry Whitaker. Sundays have evolved into a community hang where Brandon’s developed a band sound as a vehicle for his compositions, an offering known as the Program of Deprogramming, which features longstanding bandmates Lawrence Clark, Stacy Dillard, Theo Hill and Renée Cruz, in addition to a bevy of special guests.
RENEE CRUZ – Upright Bass – Cuban-American bassist Renée Cruz was born and raised in Miami, FL. She moved to New York City in January of 2001 to study with her musical heroes. Since then, she’s had the honor of studying with bass legends Sir Ron Carter, Buster Williams, Homer Mensch and Reggie Workman. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from New School University for Jazz & Contemporary Music in 2004 and her Masters of Music from The Juilliard School in 2007.

On Monday, March 2, and every Monday in March thereafter from 6PM to 8PM, Noche de Arte will continue its weekly art residency with a special emphasis on Women’s History Month, featuring local artist Yochi Y. Avin. Born in Poland and raised in Israel, Avin is a South Florida–based visual artist and art instructor. She studied fine arts in Israel and Italy, earning her BFA from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, Italy. She is known for her work in painting, drawing, fiber, object-making, installation, and theater. Her practice incorporates aged, reflective, and tactile surfaces, layering archival family photographs with textiles, collage, and delicate textures. Through transparency, repetition, and materiality, her work explores the fragmentation and reconstruction of memory and identity across generations. Avin will be in residence every Monday throughout the month of March, with works available for purchase. Gallery 100 is located in the heart of the hotel’s lobby and is open daily.

The Olga M. and Carlos A. Saladrigas Gallery at Belen Jesuit Preparatory School proudly announces the opening of The Light of the World, a Christ-centered art exhibition exploring the depiction of Jesus Christ across centuries and cultures. The exhibition will be on view from March 12 through May 6, 2026.
A Journey Through Sacred Art
For nearly two thousand years, artists have interpreted the figure of Jesus Christ—shaping some of history’s most profound and visually stunning masterpieces. The Light of the World invites visitors to experience this rich tradition, featuring paintings, sculptures, and drawings from the 16th century to today. The exhibition brings together Russian icons, Renaissance works, paintings from the Cuzco School, late 19th- and early 20th-century Latin American art, and contemporary works by local and international artists—including icons created as prayers in the 21st century.
Curated by Carol Damian, Ph.D., and Adriana Herrera, Ph.D., the exhibition offers an immersive journey through the story of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of artists from Europe, Russia, South America, and the United States.

The Wynwood Business Improvement District (BID) will present “A Morning Coffee with Clarinetist Alexander Fiterstein,” a FREE one-hour live classical music performance on the Panther Coffee Wynwood patio. Fiterstein will be joined by pianist Yianni Iliadis, performing alongside him for an intimate, relaxed, slow-morning program. Widely regarded as one of today’s most exceptional clarinetists, Alexander Fiterstein has performed in recital with distinguished orchestras and with chamber music ensembles throughout the world. He won First Prize at the Carl Nielsen International Clarinet Competition and received the Avery Fisher Career Grant Award.
Pianist Yianni Iliadis has enjoyed concerto performances, solo recitals and chamber music in the U.S. and abroad. An avid piano teacher in the community, he serves as President of the Miami Music Teachers Association and is a part-time Lecturer at the Frost School of Music (University of Miami).
