MIAMI — September 28, 2026 – The Elena A. Miranda Foundation will host its third annual Scotch & Cigars For a Cause event on Thursday, November 19 from 6-9 p.m. at City Cigar Sports Bar’s new location at 8525 Mills Drive and will be sponsored by Florida Lemark, Fausto Commercial and City Cigar Lounge. All proceeds will go to the foundation to benefit the Patient Assistance Fund at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital
The event will feature premium scotch tastings, hand-rolled cigars, raffle prizes, light bites and live music.
The foundation was started in 2023 by Carlos Fausto Miranda, founder and principal of Fausto Commercial, in honor of his late sister. Its mission is to raise funds to support underprivileged children facing life-threatening health issues where their families lack the financial means for medical intervention and where public funding is not available.
“We are looking forward to bringing together local business leaders and professionals for a festive evening,” said Miranda. “But this occasion is also designed to bring awareness of the great need many children have who need medical interventions which their families cannot afford. Our goal is to help bridge that gap.”
