Proceeds from the event will benefit the Marlins Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities Program (RBI). RBI is a youth program designed to promote interest in baseball, academic achievement and social responsibility in undeserved and disadvantaged areas of South Florida. Through its youth program we are able to provide the tools for our youth to develop both their minds and bodies in a positive way.

The Marlins Foundation would like to thank Don Camaron, Mama Choa, Prager Casino, Photo Mingle, Bacardi, PepsiCo, Budweiser and Premier Beverage for their generosity and support.

Guests are welcome to a night of fun at Marlins Park, while benefiting a great cause. The evening will feature tables of craps, blackjack, roulette, dominos and poker, an array of hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails, and a silent auction and raffle filled with exciting packages.

Dade Legal Aid together with Sabadell United Bank and the Dade County Bar Association will host the Fourth Annual Battle of the Legal Bands showcasing live music from featuring South Florida lawyer bands : Hearsay, The Motions, The Urge and Tony T and the Triple Threat. The event will be held at Sidebar, a unique bar and music venue to raise funds for Dade Legal Aid.

The event also highlights emerging community leaders whose work has changed the community for the better. Baptist Health South Florida will be awarded the Community Campion Award, which honors individuals and organizations that contribute to the non-profit community and have shown a great commitment to Miami-Dade County through their activism to help the most vulnerable.

The Miami Foundation will honor Felecia Hatcher, the co-founder of Code Fever and Black Tech Week, with the 2015 Ruth Shack Leadership Award. The award is given to a young professional who represents the qualities of ethics, dedication and service embodied by The Miami Foundation’s former president Ruth Shack.

Featuring the opening of Rocking Gently in the Audrey Love Gallery and Joyride: the journey from sculpture to children’s book in the Swenson Gallery, the evening’s theme played with the vastly differing styles of the presenting artists. There was a specialty bar featuring rocking gently cocktails, the music of Awkward Kisser and The Purple People Eater Food Truck. Along with a Raffle of an original work from Mike Rivamonte’s new children’s book.
