PAWS4you a 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer, donor-subsidized animal rescue organization in partnership with Pai Shau presents “PAWS on Board,” a glamorous gala aboard the luxurious Seafair Mega Yacht on Saturday, January 27th, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Embrace the Miami Chic atmosphere as the night unfolds with a cocktail hour starting at 7:00 PM, followed by a delightful dinner and live auction at 8:00 PM. At 9:15 PM, the Seafair Mega Yacht will leave the dock, providing guests with a casino, silent auction and nightclub experience on the water. The yacht will return to the dock at 11:00 PM, concluding the night’s festivities. This annual gala raises funds for PAWS4you in support of its mission to save dogs from the threat of euthanasia. PAWS4you serves the community by rescuing abandoned and neglected animals while nurturing them back to health through love and state-of-the-art care.

The exhibit endeavors to reflect the original notions brought forth by the Greco Roman ideals of a platonic notion of beauty that blend with contemporary. perspectives.

This exhibit is a poetic rather political approach to the contemporary currents, appreciating the grammar of a certain identity and idea.

The female form rendered by women artists reflecting 7 unique perspectives with eloquent voices rendered through a visual narrative, a herstory, shared by all women and evolved over millennia.

On Thursday, October 19th, Okeydokey will host a grand opening celebration for the public from 7 to 9 p.m. to welcome Brickell’s newest outdoor patio bar, La Terrasse, followed by an afterparty at Okeydokey’s newly debuted third floor lounge, also known as Metronome, from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m.

Located on the first floor of Okeydokey, La Terrasse’s opening celebration will feature a night filled with eats, live music and sips to celebrate the venue’s newest additions. Throughout our history, music was used as a way for Black people to be resilient and resist the oppression they were facing. From early spirituals born out of the unconscionable hardships of slavery, to the creation of folk and gospel, to the evolution of rhythm and blues and jazz, to the ascendance of rock & roll, rap, and hip-hop — Black music has shaped our society, entertained and inspired us, and helped write and tell the story of our Nation. Join the South Florida People of Color (SFPoC) and Brickell City Centre for their second annual Diversity of the African Diaspora, on Sunday February 19, 2023 at the Brickell City Centre 701 South Miami Avenue at 2pm.

“We will take a walk down Black Music memory lane and showcase a varied genre of African rooted music such as R&B, Jazz, Funk, Hip-Hop, The Blues and more. We invite you to join us and reflect on Black music and poetry as an important form of resistance and joy that speaks across cultural boundaries, helps bridge divides, and empowers communities,” says Roni Bennett South Florida People of Color Executive Director.

Master Brewer Academy’s comprehensive full “Professional Brewer Training” program! Designed for those with a serious passion for brewing and are planning to make beer their career or start their own brewery. Founded and led by Director of Education Todd Space, MBA’s classroom is the taproom with curriculum taught inside South Florida’s most noteworthy breweries, including Est. 33 (where Todd is head brewer), Cerveceria La Tropical, The Tank Brewing Co., and Tarpon River Brewing, and taught by their respective head brewers. Beginning at 7PM, on Wednesday, April 27th, El Tucán, the vibrant Brickell supper club will be featuring LIVE music, seductive performances, and an exclusively curated menu, poised to be nothing short of incredible. To commemorate this lively evening with the utmost glamour and extravagance it deserves, El Tucán will be hosting the ever-so iconic Carmen Carrera – TV personality star and transgender rights activist – who will take the stage to enchant guests with a stimulating burlesque performance. Throughout the night, DJ Willy Monfret will be spinning upbeat house music, keeping the party going until late in the evening. It’s not quite Christmas without Santa Clause, and Brickell City Centre will be going all out this year with a dedicated Santa Centre at the garden deck, reminiscent of Main Street USA! This interactive and immersive space brings holiday elements to life with Santa’s Post Office and Command Centre, Rudolf’s Fuel Stop, Dancer’s Doowap Diner and a Pop-In Shop. Kids will have the opportunity to sit on Santa’s lap for a complimentary photo (only free place in Miami) and check his naughty-or-nice list.

Even Santa is going green this year – in addition to traditional paper letters to Santa, guests can use the designated iPads to write Santa all their Christmas wishes and even print them, if they wish. BCC welcomes all furry friends to partake in the festivities as well, anytime throughout the season for photos with Santa.

Beer Lovers rejoice! Brickell City Centre’s very own EST.33 Thai Craft Brewery & Kitchen, where Asian flavors meet the distinctive techniques of American barbecue paired with in-house brewed craft beer, will host their first ever Miami Beer Week, from Saturday September 18 to Sunday, September 26. A celebration of Bavarian style brews, food and Miami’s brewing culture, Miami Beer Week will bring together breweries from across the city as well as culinary talent to toast to South Florida’s Oktoberfest festivities. Guests will be able to sample the very first sips of the Golden Glades Festbier, and “Li’l Smokey” Rauchbier along with Bavarian inspired dishes made with an EST.33 twist courtesy of Executive Chef Sean Bernal and guest Chef Cindy Hutson of Ortanique on the Mile and Cerveceria La Tropical. Additionally, refreshing pours from other participating local breweries such as Cervercería La Tropical, The Tank Brewing Co., Foal Brewing Company, Gulf Stream Brewing Company, and Tarpon River Brewing will be available.
