Moksha Indian Brasserie, a new Indian restaurant offering a contemporary dining experience in east Fort Lauderdale will host its third and final “Dine & Give” night as a part of its grand opening celebrations. Moksha will support the Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus by donating 40 percent of its evening dining proceeds on Tuesday, October 29, from 5 to 10 p.m.

The Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus has a vision to build community through quality musical performances and civic engagement that promotes a world that accepts and values diversity. For over 30 years, the chorus has relied on the generosity of individuals and businesses, along with ticket sales, to perform in great concert halls and theaters, present guest artists and choruses, serve the community, tour to new places and support the volunteer members.

The 85-seat indoor restaurant features an extensive menu catering to meat, seafood and vegetarian preferences. Food lovers will delight in small and large plates, soups, salads, live fire specialties, breads and unique fruit and floral essence-infused beverages and desserts. Diners will enjoy their culinary experience in an intimate setting with modern glam eclectic influences.

The restaurant’s signature specialties include Lassoni Gobi, Old Delhi Butter Chicken, Zaffron Lobster and the Moksha Feast. Even non-alcoholic beverages and desserts are a celebration of flavors, from the Kokum Sherbat drink to the Gulab Jamoon dessert.

Moksha Indian Brasserie launched its “Dine & Give” initiative on September 24 with a benefit for Leadership Broward. It’s second installment is slated to benefit the Slow Burn Theatre Company on October 15. This final “Dine & Give” night to enjoy Moksha’s progressive menu featuring close to 70 South Asian selections comprised of traditional flavors with unexpected twists, will complete the restaurant’s charitable grand opening activities.
