From beatboxing to poetry, KIND Healthy Snacks encourages South Florida to Do the KIND Thing® by joining them in recognition of our community’s most talented young artists. During Art Basel 2014, KIND will shine a light on the importance of music and the arts in the lives of youth through their ichooseart campaign, an effort that includes several spontaneous street performances by student artists, a formal gallery of their work, and a unique opening night celebration. Focusing on the power of choice, KIND hopes to inspire guests to make powerful decisions in their lives both large and small, from living healthy lifestyles all the way to leaving a positive mark on the world through simple acts of kindness.

Starting with a Thursday night student showcase from 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm at Brick House Wynwood (187 NW 28th Street), KIND invites the community to experience the talent, passion and dedication of local young performers while enjoying cocktails, refreshments and the buzz of Midtown Miami. This event, free and open to the public, will serve as the kickoff to a series of pop-up performances that Basel-goers will spot throughout the city on December 5 and 6.
By joining the ichooseart movement, Art Basel attendees will reinforce the notion of art being accessible to all, something that can provide light in the dark, guidance and inspiration… all starting with the powerful choice to live a KINDer, healthier, more positive life.

Santa’s workshop will take over the LGBT Visitor Center in Miami Beach for the 5th Annual HoliGay Celebration and Toy Drive, Thursday, December 11, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wannabe Santas from the entire community are invited to bring an unwrapped toy as a contribution to the Miami Beach Police Department’s Children’s Holiday Relief Fund for distribution to children in need. The LGBT Visitor Center is located at 1130 Washington Avenue in Miami Beach.

“Each year, the HoliGay Toy Drive grows and grows like a snowball rolling down a hill,” said Lori Lynch, executive director of the LGBT Visitor Center. “So much so, it might just snow during the event.”

The jolly old elf himself will be making a special guest appearance and posing for selfies at the event which will feature complimentary cocktails by GREY GOOSE® Vodka, Bacardi brands and Barefoot Wine and Bubbly. A lavish buffet from Centerplate and Crepe Maker will be served against the backdrop of DJ/Producer Maximus 3000 playing holiday and contemporary favorites. Thanksgiving is a time of family, reflection, and a time of giving. It is a time when a man or woman, sometimes a slightly intoxicated man or woman, crams their butter-coated hand into a turkey’s butt. Fortunately, this year – you can leave that to Serendipity 3! Bring your family and friends for this traditional feast that includes a generously sized turkey leg, roasted harvest vegetables (brussel sprouts, parsnips, and carrots), a fluffy cloud of mashed sweet potatoes, and of course – stuffing and gravy. ($23/person).

But that’s not the only thing making this Thanksgiving the sweetest one yet. Serendipity3 brings you a fall-inspired dessert to finish off your holiday feast: A glorious pumpkin pie with a heaping scoop of butter pecan ice cream. ($10)

Friday, November 21, 2014 & Saturday, November 23, 2014 8:00 p.m.
The Colony Theatre,1040 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139

Miami Contemporary Dance Company (MCDC) presents a revamped version of
Ray Sullivan’s Bolero and the WORLD PREMIERE of In Red Time. This double
bill of two entrancing performances will transport the audience to an alternate
reality that reflects our own. Ray Sullivan’s Bolero is set to Ravel’s famous
masterpiece and is revamped by MCDC’s dancers as they take the audience
through a theatrical world not so different from our own, where we are unsure if
we are puppets or leaders, followers or the flock and where, if released from our
ties, can go wild in jubilation or madness. In Red Time is Ray Sullivan’s
newest, never-before-seen creation, that is set in a poetic and surreal vision,
showing the journey of two people through time and life, who they meet and
love, and how they have lived along the way, even as time runs out, as time
turns to “Red Time”.

Celebrating its fourteenth year, Miami Contemporary Dance Company is a non-profit
organization dedicated to bringing international contemporary dance of the
highest level to the stage and is committed to furthering professional dance
education in Miami MCDC’s programs are made possible with the support of our
sponsors: Celestial Society members, John S. and James L. Knight Foundation
as part of its Knight Arts Challenge, Miami Beach Cultural Arts Council, Miami
Beach Commissioners and Mayor, Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural
Affairs, Cultural Affairs Council, Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners

Miami Beach, Florida 33139

Cost: $ 100.00 to $40.00

Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida will, once again embark on a journey to the Land of the Sweets, as they perform the traditional annual audience favorite, The Nutcracker based on the tale of Ernest Hoffman with Tchaikovsky’s popular score and choreographed and directed by Vladimir Issaev.
This is the most popular holiday story ever performed in the US. It tells the tale of a young girl, Clara, on Christmas Eve and the adventure she undertakes when her most cherished Christmas present, a nutcracker, comes to life. Together they battle the Mouse King, meet the Queen of Snow and travel to the Land of Sweets, where they encounter the always classic, Sugarplum Fairy.
Issaev’s engaging choreography preserves the Russian tradition and serves as an alternative to those who already have seen Balanchine’s version. Every year the production is enhanced, adding special effects like falling snow and a growing Christmas tree, which enchant children and adults, making each year a new experience for returning audiences.
The enthusiastic young company features a team of professional dancers performing the principal roles, as well as a community cast made up of local character artists and children for the party scene. The engaging choreography- from the fun of the party scene- to the harrowing battle scene- to the enchanting kingdom of the sweets- is guaranteed to entertain any age. Not only is it the most popular ballet enjoyed by all audiences around the world during this time of the year but it also serves as an introduction to ballet for the very young audiences.
The principal roles in The Nutcracker will be commanded by Arts Ballet’s new stars Takayuki Asai, Yukina Yasuhara, Hirofumi Kitazume, Lillian Hill, Ramil Bagmanov, Ben Cook, Saori Morioka, Elise Shea.

Vladimir Issaev’s holiday tradition will be presented in three magnificent venues: the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater, the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center and The Parker Playhouse of Fort Lauderdale.
You Can Join the Magical Adventure
As every year, the Opening Gala performance takes place at the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater, which celebrate the company’s seventeen years of making holiday magic. For VIP Patrons, the December 7th Gala will begin at 6:30 pm, with cocktails and hors Hors d’oeuvres, a reception with the international corps of dancers, and chances to bid on silent auction items such as Tiffany’s jewels, Spa Packages, Holiday baskets, Hilton Cabana’s weekend getaway, Disney packages, Sports memorabilia, and many more. For more information on how to participate visit www.artsballettheatre.org, or call (305) 948-4777

Engage in the holiday gift loved ones will always cherish. Don’t miss the opportunity to share the excitement and charm of the great tradition of the holidays with Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida during their extraordinary performances of “The Nutcracker.”

UNTITLED., an international art fair to be held in Miami Beach, announces its vernissage and benefit, its list of exhibitors and programming highlights for its third edition from December 3 to 7, 2014.

At the vernissage on Monday, December 1, UNTITLED. will honor ACRIA, a leading research and education organization working to help people with HIV and AIDS live longer, healthier lives. For more than 20 years, ACRIA has been championed tirelessly by the arts community. Ryan McGinley will host the UNTITLED. vernissage, where a limited-edition print by the artist will be available for sale to benefit ACRIA. On Tuesday, December 2, UNTITLED. will hold a Press Preview from 1 pm to 3 pm, and a VIP Preview from 3 pm to 7 pm. (All these events are by invitation only).

UNTITLED. is proud to welcome exhibitors from across the country and globe. Over 200 artists represented in galleries and non-profit art spaces from 16 US cities and 18 countries are on the 2014 roster. Carefully selected by UNTITLED.’s 2014 curatorial team, led by Artistic Director Omar López-Chahoud with curators Christophe Boutin and Melanie Scarciglia, the list of exhibitors will present the works of emerging and established contemporary artists.
In addition to its roster of international exhibitors, UNTITLED. will feature a series of special projects, conversations, performances and events.
Programming highlights

This year’s UNTITLED. catalog is conceived as an artist book and will be published in a limited edition of 1,000 numbered copies. This simple box containing folders and gallery information will mimic a box of press clips focusing on the international profile of the fair.
A series of artist’s posters will additionally be produced and distributed for free to the visitors, including two works from the Toilet Paper series by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari. Lawrence Weiner, Lisa Anne Auerbach, Jonathan Monk, Elvire Bonduelle, Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, Slavs and Tatars among others will also create original posters for the public.

Loosely based on Hyde Park’s Speakers’ Corner, UNTITLED. TALKS, animated by artist Sean Micka, will create a new space in the heart of the fair where art history will collide with performance, controversy, culture, diatribe and debate with a strong dose of energy.
Furthermore, the Paris-based publisher onestar press is inviting artists Douglas Navarra, Nicole Cherubini, Pier Stockholm, and Silvina Arismendi among others for a publication in their prestigious artist’s books collection.

Publicar V (2010), a special project by Paul Ramírez Jonas, will be presented by Koenig & Clinton, New York. The artist states, “There are two voices that inscribe public space. One is ours and it is ephemeral, improvised, and temporal. The other one is the state’s and it tries to be permanent and monumental. Their voice is of stone and bronze. Our voice is cork: capable of accommodating us all—even if for a short time. All we need is a scrap of paper, a pen, and a thumbtack to publish our voice.”

Conceptual French artist Mathieu Mercier will present new works exclusively made for the fair and will be showcased by Denis Gardarin Inc. Using everyday objects to explore ideas of the line between functionality and artistic purposelessness, Mercier’s work investigates key tropes of modern art and design. Denis Gardarin Inc. will also feature a 20-year survey of Mercier, with the artist’s most important works including new sculptures and photographs.
Artists Gordon Matta-Clark, Bill Owens and James Wines / SITE Architects & Howard Silver will present Cutting Through the Suburbs. Featured by non-profit gallery carriage trade, the works engage the almost mythological status of mid-century suburban life. Documented through film, photographs and sketches, the artists’ works represent their shared interest in the unusual retail and domestic spaces of 1970s suburbia.

Additionally, for its third edition UNTITLED.’s VIP guests will be granted exclusive access to “MY UNTITLED.” two weeks before the fair opens to research and discover works that are exhibited at the fair, build their own digital art collection and print their favorite works from the fair in advance of its opening. In a unique partnership with Curiator, MY UNTITLED. will allow users to discover, collect and share art. Visitors to the fair will have this exceptional opportunity throughout the run of the fair.

Founded in 2002, New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) is a not-for-profit collective of professionals working with contemporary art. Our mission is to create an open flow of information, support, and collaboration within our field and to develop a stronger sense of community among our constituency. NADA’s fair is held in parallel with Art Basel Miami Beach and is recognized as a much needed alternative assembly of the world’s youngest and strongest art galleries dealing with emerging Contemporary Art. It is the only major American art fair to be run by a non-profit organization.

Our international group of members includes both galleries and individuals (art professionals, independent curators, and established gallery directors). The various perspectives and ideas offered by our diverse roster creates a network which, at its most basic, is a resource which people could contribute to and take as much (or as little) as they are inclined. The benefits for some may be a matter of business, for others a source of intellectual or aesthetic stimulation.

To date, our initiatives have succeeded on two fronts: making the contemporary arts more accessible for the general public, and creating opportunities that nurture the growth of emerging artists, curators, and galleries. Our EVENTS have included: artist talks/gallery walks with critics and curators; benefits in support of charitable institutions; members-only seminars to stimulate dedication and ethics in our profession; and an annual art fair in Miami, which is held in December and is free and open to the public.

Ten years ago, a small fair for collectible design named design.05 Miami launched concurrently with Art Basel Miami Beach. Located in the Moore Building in the Miami Design District, it offered a selection of fifteen invited exhibitors, with the stated aim of bringing museum-quality galleries together with the best collectors, connoisseurs, and designers from around the world in one of the premier destinations for art and design.

Remaining true to that aim, the intervening decade has seen the blossoming and expansion of the fair alongside the market for collectible design, evidenced by the number of participating galleries, which has almost tripled in that period. As it has matured, Design Miami/ has lead the field in establishing new global standards for creative and inspiring exhibitions, turning the fair into an essential destination for the design press and enthusiasts as well as collectors.

Rodman Primack, Executive Director of Design Miami/ stated, “The fair grew out of the need for a consolidated marketplace that would act as a platform to showcase the range and strength of what was then a fledgling market.” Adding, “Since then, the collectible design market has really changed in scale; it’s internationalized and diversified, and this is reflected very clearly in the fair. Design Miami/ has changed the way galleries engage with their audiences. I am excited to see this ecosystem bringing so many distinct viewpoints and aesthetics together.”

The burgeoning interest in contemporary design from around the US is particularly evident this year, with the invitation of first-time participants Edward Cella Art+Architecture of LA and Gallery Diet of Miami. These two newcomers to the fair are joined by returning participants Volume Gallery, Chicago and Johnson Trading Gallery from New York. Design Miami/ 2014 also welcomes regular participants of the Basel fair, Galleria O., Rome, specializing in Italian twentieth century and international contemporary design, Galerie Pascal Cuisinier from Paris, with their focus on French design from the 1960s and 70s, Carwan Gallery, Beirut, emphasizing work from Western designers interpreting Middle Eastern craft and Nilufar Gallery, Milan, known for Italian postwar design.

The Miami fair and its Basel sibling have maintained strong bonds with the founding galleries that participated in that first design.05 Miami. Eleven founding galleries of the original fifteen – including the previously mentioned Nilufar Gallery, Casati Gallery, Cristina Grajales Gallery, Demisch Danant, Galerie kreo, Galerie Patrick Seguin, Jousse Entreprise, LAFFANOUR-Galerie Downtown, Magen H Gallery, R & Company and Hostler Burrows – will be participating in Design Miami/ 2014.

Zesty Meyers, Principal of R & Company, New York commented, “I think what we’ve accomplished in ten years is amazing. Design Miami/ and Design Miami/ Basel have brought a global audience to us: because of them, I don’t know what languages will be spoken in my gallery today. The power of acting under the Design Miami/ umbrella as a group of galleries attracts buyers that we’d never attract individually – we keep on getting first time buyers. Because of the clients we have through Design Miami/, we can invest in scholarship and research; we can publish major books and hold museum shows. At a certain point, these pieces we are selling from the twentieth century will be gone – we’re saving history with these works, and creating future history with the contemporary.”

Equally excited by the future as it is inspired by the past, Design Miami/ is launching two new forward-looking initiatives this year: the exhibition strand Design Curio, and the Design Visionary award.

Conceived as contemporary cabinets of curiosity, the four independently curated Design Curio booths scattered throughout the fair will take the widest possible view of design practice. They will go beyond the scope of collectible design to embrace diverse fields from science and technology, to handcraft, and from unrealized prototypes to esoteric collections.

Design Visionary
The new Design Visionary award from Design Miami/ celebrates individuals who have significantly contributed to the field of design, such as collectors, curators, architects and luminaries who influence and are engaged in design in the broadest sense. The laureate of the Design Visionary award is recognized as having a continued, tangible and lasting impact.

The inaugural Design Visionary award will be presented to Peter Marino in December 2014. With this award, Design Miami/ recognizes Marino for his achievements as an architect, for his knowledge and status as a collector of design, art and the decorative arts, and for the impact he has had as an advisor on contemporary and twentieth century design to his numerous clients.

Commenting on the first edition of this award, Primack stated, “This award is about recognizing the figures that have really propelled the world of design in the broader sense. Peter is a great talent, and is also an amazing patron of others’ talents. His knowledge of furniture, his ability to create collections in design and his work with leading brands to help them understand the importance of bringing design voices into their world have substantially impacted the market and the language of design”.

Marino founded his eponymous architecture, planning and design studio in New York in 1978 having trained with I. M. Pei and George Nelson. Early clients included Andy Warhol, Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé, and Gianni and Marella Agnelli.

Alongside his work with private clients, Marino has redefined luxury in the retail space, creating store environments around the world for houses such as Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Graff and Ermenegildo Zegna, commissioning site specific works of art for many of them. His numerous collections include contemporary art and design, photographs, porcelain, and Renaissance and Baroque bronzes, the latter of which were shown at London’s Wallace Collection in 2010 in the exhibition Beauty and Power: Renaissance and Baroque Bronzes from the Peter Marino Collection. In 2012 he was named a Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture.

At Design Miami/ 2014, Marino will be the subject of an exhibition celebrating his multiple roles within the world of design. In a stand-alone display space designed by the architect, the exhibition will feature antique and contemporary chairs from his collection, architectural maquettes and images, and his series of cast bronze boxes.

Pavilion Commission
Minneapolis-based designer Jonathan Muecke has been commissioned to create the Pavilion for the tenth anniversary of Design Miami/.

The Design Miami/ Pavilion Commission has become an important feature of the fair. An ephemeral extension of the fair space itself, the pavilion is at once an exhibit and a piece of functional temporary architecture. While the commission is traditionally given to an early career architect or studio, for its tenth anniversary Design Miami/ has selected a designer whose practice reflects the multifaceted nature of the fair itself.

Alexandra Cunningham Cameron, Creative Director at Design Miami/ commented, “For our tenth anniversary, we wanted to pay homage to the type of young designer that Design Miami/ wishes to champion – one who experiments with materials, form and scale; who is as much a theorist as a maker; and who challenges us to consider how we relate to the world built around us.”

Jonathan Muecke studied architecture at Iowa State, interning at the architectural office of Herzog & de Meuron in Basel, Switzerland before studying design at the Cranbrook Academy of Art. Muecke has evolved a design practice that resists standard divisions between design, art and architecture, instead focusing on refined forms that investigate notions of positive and negative space, positional relationships to structures and the innate desire to read notions of functionality into objects that relate to human scale.

Centered around a double-layered circular structure with apertures at both poles, Jonathan Muecke’s Design Miami Pavilion (DMP) is designed on a human scale, rejecting monumentality in favor of lightness and variability. Filtered through a translucent canopy that shelters the whole structure, light will bounce off the curved and colored surfaces of the pavilion – complementary tones of red and green within, primary blue and yellow without – creating a shifting topography of reflected color. Seamlessly shaped seating units made from composite will allow visitors a moment of quiet reflection in a space conceived in part as a refuge from the hyper-stimulating environment of the fair itself.

Aqua Art Miami is pleased to announce its roster of confirmed exhibitors for Art Week, when the popular contemporary art fair runs Dec. 3 through Dec. 7, 2014. Long known as one of the top emerging art fairs during Miami Art Week, Aqua Art Miami is critically recognized for presenting vibrant and noteworthy international art programs showcasing emerging and mid-career artists.

Set within a classic Art Deco hotel on South Beach with spacious exhibition rooms that open onto a breezy, charming courtyard, the unique fair has become a favorite gathering spot during the busy week to acquire work, exchange ideas and discover new pieces by well-known artists as well as names new to the international art market. Under its new ownership by Art Miami LLC, Aqua 2013’s VIP Preview opened with a line of collectors down Collins Avenue waiting to gain entrance – a first in the history of the fair – and closed on a high note with record breaking sales, outstanding press coverage, and overall attendance of more than 10,000 visitors, which doubled from previous years.

Aqua Art Miami’s 2014 edition will feature 46 international exhibitors and a dynamic range of high-quality art that maintains the fair’s signature unique atmosphere and energy, showcasing emerging and mid-career artists working in all media from painting, photography and works on paper to design, sculpture, installation, video and multimedia art. “Aqua’s affiliation with Art Miami has clearly expanded the fair’s ability to reach out to new galleries as well as collecting audiences,” said Director Jennifer Jacobs. “Aqua’s unique setting and increasingly refined environment transcends notions of the typical hotel fair, and we’re incredibly excited for this edition, celebrating Aqua’s 10th Anniversary and highlighting the fair’s continuing curatorial evolution. We’re welcoming back some of the established exhibitors that have defined the fair’s success over the years along with fresh galleries new to the Miami art scene, together presenting an exciting roster of solo exhibitions and projects spanning visual art, multimedia, and performance.”

For the first time in Aqua’s history, exhibitors were selected through an Advisory Committee, comprised of Mat Gleason of Coagula Curatorial, Los Angeles, Nancy Toomey of Toomey Tourrell Fine Art, San Francisco, and Henry Chung and Robert Walden of Robert Henry Contemporary, Brooklyn, NY. Approximately half of the galleries who have contributed to Aqua’s success over the years are returning for the 2014 edition, with a number of new participants traveling to the fair from the Americas, Asia and Europe, many exhibiting in Miami for the first time. Aqua will also debut a design exhibitor for the first time in its history, with Industry Gallery of Los Angeles/Washington DC transforming the hotel’s penthouse; and as in years past, the online network and magazine ArtSlant will unveil the winners of a yearlong contest to select several artists from an international open call juried by a panel of art world luminaries.

In honor of the fair’s 10th anniversary, Aqua will present innovative performance programs encouraging audience participation in the creative process. Highlights include: Coagula Curatorial presenting renowned performance artist Karen Finley, who will reprise her Artist Anonymous series of ‘meetings’ encouraging audiences to explore their relationship with art. This series originally premiered as part of the Museum of Art and Design’s 2014 MAD Biennial; Elizabeth Leach Gallery will present MK Guth’s Advice Station, part psychiatry office and part information booth. Here visitors can sit and talk about their experiences and offer their tips, pointers and opinions about the art fairs in Miami, to be included in a book that can be ordered and shipped after the fair. These projects will be enhanced by a number of pop-up installations and ‘performance interruptions’ curated throughout the week, enhancing the fair experience for Aqua visitors.

These facets will add to the unique and invigorating atmosphere that has made Aqua Art Miami’s opening the annual destination on Wednesday of Art Week for influential collectors, connoisseurs and art professionals who migrate en masse from Art Basel Miami Beach’s VIP Preview a short walk away. This exclusive first view starting at 3 PM encourages VIP Cardholders to explore the room displays until the festivities wind down at 10 PM, gaining insight from exhibitors and artists while seizing the opportunity to acquire work before the fair opens to the public at noon the following day.

Art Basel announces strong selection of galleries and artists for its 2014 edition in Miami Beach Private View

Art Basel’s show in Miami Beach returns this December for its 13th edition with 267 leading international galleries, drawn from 31 countries across North and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. 2014 will mark the debut of Survey, a new sector dedicated to precise art-historical projects. In addition to showing premier artworks ranging from Modern masters to the latest contemporary pieces across five gallery sectors, many galleries will present works in Art Basel’s project-based sectors: Kabinett, Public and Film. The Art Basel show in Miami Beach, whose Lead Partner is UBS, will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center from December 4 to December 7, 2014.

Attracting leading collectors, curators, museum directors and critics from across the globe, Art Basel in Miami Beach ranks as the premier art show of the Americas, with 50 percent of the galleries having exhibition spaces in the region. Alongside a strong presence of returning galleries from North America, first-time exhibitors from the United States will include Clifton Benevento, Freedman Fitzpatrick, Honor Fraser, Garth Greenan Gallery, Michael Jon, Menconi + Schoelkopf and Simone Subal Gallery. The show will again be marked by a strong presence of galleries with spaces across Latin America, with first-time exhibitors including Central Galeria de Arte and Galeria Bergamin from Brazil, and SlyZmud from Argentina. Reflecting Art Basel’s truly global reach, the show will feature leading galleries with spaces across Asia, including new participants Take Ninagawa and Y++ Wada Fine Arts from Japan and Beijing Commune from China.

Overall, this year’s participants have exhibition spaces in 31 countries: Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, South Africa, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States and Uruguay. For the full exhibitor list, please visit artbasel.com/miamibeach/exhibitors.

Comprising 192 of the world’s leading galleries, the Galleries sector is the centerpiece of the show. With a reapplication rate of 100 percent, the selection process was particularly competitive this year. Returning galleries will be joined, following a hiatus, by The Approach, Galeria Raquel Arnaud, Maccarone, Giò Marconi Gallery and ShanghART, while two galleries who previously presented their artists in Nova will exhibit in the sector for the first time: Casas Riegner and galerie frank elbaz. For the full gallery list, please visit artbasel.com/miamibeach/galleries.

Survey – the new sector dedicated to precise art-historical projects ranging from solo shows to thematic exhibitions – will launch in Miami Beach with 13 select galleries. The sector will present nine solo exhibitions: Ralston Crawford (Menconi + Schoelkopf), Paul Feeley (Garth Greenan Gallery), Poul Gernes (Galleri Bo Bjerggaard), Tetsuya Ishida (Y++ Wada Fine Arts), Alison Knowles (James Fuentes), Lotty Rosenfeld (espaivisor), Niki de Saint Phalle (Galerie Georges-Philippe & Nathalie Vallois), Michelle Stuart (Leslie Tonkonow Artworks + Projects) and Alfredo Volpi (Galeria Bergamin). These presentations will be shown alongside group exhibitions by: The Taller Torres-García

(Cecilia de Torres, Ltd.); Henry Darger and Marcel Storr (Andrew Edlin Gallery); Andrei Monastyrski, Valie Export and Alfons Schilling (Charim Galerie); and Gina Pane, Rosemarie Castoro, Lenora de Barros and Lydia Okumura (Broadway 1602). Further information on the individual projects will be announced in the coming weeks. For the full gallery list, please visit artbasel.com/miamibeach/survey.

Providing younger galleries with a platform to present new work by up to three artists, Nova will feature 34 exhibitors. The sector will include work by David Diao (Galería Marta Cervera); Tania Candiani (Instituto de visión); Laure Prouvost (MOT International); Uri Aran, Ara Dymond and Mairead O’hEocha (mother’s tankstation); Shinro Ohtake, Tsuruko Yamazaki, Ryoko Aoki (Take Ninagawa); Oscar Muñoz, Voluspa Jarpa, Teresa Margolles (mor charpentier); Jon Pestoni, Sam Pulitzer (Real Fine Arts); and a performance installation by Brazilian artists Cibelle Cavalli Bastos and Patricia Leite (Mendes Wood DM). For the full gallery list, please visit artbasel.com/miamibeach/nova.

The 16 curated solo booths of Positions will provide a focused insight into individual practices, from conceptual artists Sam Ekwurtzel (Simone Subal Gallery), Julien Carreyn (Crèvecoeur), and Nino Cais (Central Galeria de Arte) to painters Meleko Mokgosi (Honor Fraser), Florian & Michael Quistrebert (Galerie Juliètte Jongma), and Borden Capalino (Ramiken Crucible). The sector will also include research-based projects by Faivovich & Goldberg (SlyZmud), urban installations by Ishmael Randall Weeks (Revolver Galería), multi-media work by Maria Laet (Galeria Marilia Razuk), an installation by Thomas Julier (RaebervonStenglin), a reflection on architectural destruction by Hrair Sarkissian (Kalfayan Galleries), new sculptures by Zak Kitnick (Clifton Benevento), and explorations of digital communication by Lucie Stahl (Freedman Fitzpatrick) and Constant Dullaart (Carroll / Fletcher). Demonstrating the range of the sector, Tracey Rose (Dan Gunn) will convert the traditional gallery booth into a stage to present a play with actors performing continuously throughout the show. For the full gallery list, please visit artbasel.com/miamibeach/positions.

Following the success of its Miami Beach premiere in 2013, Edition will return with 12 global leaders in the field of prints and limited-editioned works: Alan Cristea Gallery, Crown Point Press, GDM, Gemini G.E.L. LLC, Sabine Knust, Carolina Nitsch, Pace Prints, Paragon, Polígrafa Obra Gráfica, Paul Stolper Gallery, STPI, and Two Palms. For the full gallery list, please visit artbasel.com/miamibeach/edition.

Another highlight of the Miami Beach show is Film, a premier program of films by and about artists, selected by David Gryn, Director of London’s Artprojx, and Zurich collector This Brunner. Curated around the theme of ‘Playfulness’, David Gryn will present over 70 films and videos by an international roster of artists including ‘Ex Romance’ by Charles Atlas (Luhring Augustine), hand drawn animations by Atsushi Kaga (mother’s tankstation), and work by Laure Prouvost (MOT International). Gryn’s program will again be shown in SoundScape Park on the 7,000-square-foot outdoor projection wall of the Frank Gehry-designed New World Center. To further integrate Film within the art fair and to allow for ideal viewing conditions, Art Basel will unveil a newly designed film viewing room within the exhibition halls. This Brunner’s feature-film selection will be announced later this fall.

Also returning to Art Basel is Nicholas Baume, Director and Chief Curator of New York City’s Public Art Fund, who will curate Public – the outdoor installation of large sculptural works – for the second time. Further information on Public and Film will be released during the fall, along with this year’s selection for Kabinett – separate curated interventions delineated within the standard gallery booth – and Art Basel’s renowned Conversations and Salon series of panels and talks.

In response to the ever-increasing popularity of the Miami Beach show with arts patrons from all over the world, Art Basel’s opening structure this year will shift slightly with the official Vernissage moving from the evening of December 3 to the morning of December 4, giving exhibitors expanded time to focus on collectors and art world professionals.

Reflecting the show’s long-term impact on the local art scene, South Florida’s leading museums and private collections will again time their strongest exhibitions of the year to coincide with Art Basel. Visitors from across the world will have an opportunity to view the city’s internationally renowned private collections. The Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation (CIFO) will show ‘Impulse, Reason, Sense, Conflict/Abstract Art in the Ella Fontanals- Cisernos Collection’, featuring works exhibited for the first time at the CIFO Art Space.

‘Beneath The Surface’ at the de la Cruz Collection Contemporary Art Space will include work by Félix González-Torres, Wade Guyton, Rob Pruitt, Dana Schutz and Kelley Walker, among others. The Margulies Collection at the Warehouse will celebrate its 15th anniversary with an exhibition of work by Pier Paolo Calzolari, John Chamberlain, Willem de Kooning , Olafur Eliasson, Dan Flavin, Michael Heizer, Donald Judd, Anselm Kiefer, Jannis Kounellis, Sol LeWitt, Richard Long, Mario Merz, Joan Miró, Isamu Noguchi, Michelangelo Pistoletto, George Segal, Richard Serra, Tony Smith, Do-Ho-Suh, Franz West and others. Since 2005, PULSE Contemporary Art Fair has been the premiere satellite fair for the discovery and acquisition of cutting-edge contemporary art. With annual editions in Miami Beach and New York City, the fair cultivates a supportive environment for its international community of galleries and provides a platform for their growth and expansion in the contemporary art market. From its inception, PULSE has presented thoughtfully-curated exhibitions and ever-evolving programming that reflect the fair’s commitment to making the visitor experience a dynamic one.

PULSE Contemporary Art Fair is delighted to announce its 2014 Miami Beach programming highlights and PULSE Prize nominees for its tenth anniversary edition. With over 170 exhibiting artists presented by a select group of exhibitors from Asia, Europe and the Americas, PULSE Miami Beach will offer visitors a dynamic environment in which to discover and collect cutting-edge contemporary art.

PULSE Projects, the fair’s presentation of large-scale installations and performance, will feature a piece by Ontario-based artist Shayne Dark, presented by Art Mûr. Tangle Wood (below), Dark’s meditative 8x18x10’ painted wood sculpture, is a reference to log driving on North American rivers in the early part of the century. Jenna Spevack will also present Birds of Brooklyn, an audio installation that brings the sounds of displaced and bygone birds to sites in Brooklyn and Miami, courtesy of the artist and Mixed Greens.

PULSE Play, the fair’s platform for new media and video art, will be presented by Tumblr and curated by new media scholar Lindsay Howard. For PULSE Play, Howard will select a group of artists whose work is thematically linked from among exhibiting galleries. “Video and New Media Art have become essential components of contemporary art collections. The artists included in PULSE Play are experimenting with the aesthetics and technical aspects of emergent technologies, through topics such as religion, poetry, human form, light, and performance,” explains Lindsay Howard. The PULSE Play selections will be on view on PULSE’s Tumblr, and at the fair.

PULSE is honored to present the PULSE Prize—a cash grant awarded directly to a jury-selected artist of distinction who is being exhibited in a solo booth at the fair. The New York 2014 winner of the PULSE Prize was Hassan Hajjaj, presented by GUSFORD | los angeles.

The nominees for the 2014 Miami Beach PULSE Prize are:

MDPL’s history is also on display so that guests can learn more about preservation. The museum includes a resource center, a children’s area, rotating exhibits and much more!”

Young Patronesses of the Opera celebrated their 59th Annual Gala Cocktail Reception at The Betsy Hotel By Betty Alvarez

The Betsy Hotel, La Fenice Prosecco, Leatrice Damus, Maria-Rosa Lopez-Munoz & Barbara Reese hosted a Swanky evening of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at the downstairs B-bar of the The Betsy on South Beach on October 5th, to celebrate the wonderful benefactors snd underwriters of the upcoming 59th Annual Young Patronesses of the Opera Gala “Hat Spats & Pearls… A Toast to the Roaring 20’s.” Guests received a favor of Satin Glow Gold dust by Prestige Cosmetics to carry the sparkle of the evening with them.

The annual YPO Gala – now in its 59th year – is considered among Miami’s oldest and most prestigious black tie affairs. This elegant soiree, organized by Lisa Wheeler, President of YPO and Gala Chairs Laurel Auerbacher, Amal Kabbani, Patty Scerpella, Lori Thomas and Lise-Marie Wertanzl, will feature a silent auction, live entertainment, dancing, and a three-course meal to raise funds for YPO’s music education programs.

The Gatsby-style party will evoke the excitement of the era and many spirited YPO members and guests will forego traditional ball gowns and black-tie for imaginative designs which reflect the era of flappers, starlets, gangsters and aristocrats. During a cocktail hour guests will enjoy an inspired silent auction, followed by dinner, dancing to the 8-piece band, Manhattan Music, and entertainment by the internationally-acclaimed singers Poperazzi.

Founded almost 60 years ago in 1955, YPO is a volunteer group of 100 dedicated women who advocate for music and opera education to children in South Florida. Proceeds raised at Hat Spats and Pearls will be used to fund 100% of YPO’s music and opera educational programs. Every year, YPO presents a workshop for more than 500 Girl Scouts, and a professional development Teacher Workshop on opera in the classroom for Miami-Dade and Broward County teachers. YPO also brings professional children’s opera performances to more than 30,000 elementary students annually. This year, YPO will expand its musical outreach program to children who are hospitalized. In addition, YPO also presents a national voice competition for aspiring young opera singers. This year it is slated for April 16-18 at the colony Theatre on Miami Beach.

South Beach Vision has opened its doors in the luxurious Waverly Condominium building, overlooking Biscayne Bay. If you care about quality and value customer service, we have you in our sights. That’s why our motto is “Focused On You”, a unique concept in today’s healthcare environment. We offer complimentary valet parking, beer, wine, and espresso to our patients. Our medical director, Dr. Adam L. Stelzer, has been recognized as a premiere eye doctor in the State of Florida and is the only American Board of Optometry nationally board certified optometrist in Miami Beach. He was voted “Young Optometrist of the Year” by his colleagues in 2012. Experience a concierge-style eye examination and find something special in our exquisite spectacle and sunglass collection. Interested in contact lenses or a LASIK consultation? Those are two of our specialties. We are open late and on Saturdays.

We also believe in charity and giving back to our community. Dr. Stelzer has a long history with The Miami Lighthouse for the Blind. Their dedication to the visually impaired is unparalleled and is a model for charitable organizations across the nation. South Beach Vision will be selling custom engraved wine glasses and beer pints with all profit donated to the Miami Lighthouse. We are Focused On You…and our less fortunate.

We created a space where you can relax before and after your exam. We are tired of seeing patients given a number and told to wait in line for far too long. This is a revolutionary twist on the common doctor’s office and we take pride in serving each of our unique patients. We strive to create an unforgettably warm experience, from the atmosphere of the office the moment you walk in, throughout the entire exam, and even while choosing the next addition to your collection of eyewear.

Come discover South Beach Vision.

Music by Jorge Vicens (DJ V)

Inspired by the sociological effects of the advertising world, David Gary Lloyd unfolds symbolic photographs to challenge the messages conveyed by mass marketing. Lloyd’s works communicate messages of religion in mainstream media, identity complications, human/nature sacrifice, and the effects of mass consumerism. David has also developed “Narrated Moments”, which relate positive outlooks and advice through the homeless, gypsies and street dwellers of Miami, who go against the common grain of society. David received diplomas in Photography and Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Exhibitions of his work have been held in Venues ranging from Miami, New York and Vermont. Lloyd currently lives and works from the eclectic art neighborhood Wynwood located in Miami. Alongside fellow photographer Michelle Citrin, David Co-owns the contemporary portrait studio Neox Image. http://DavidGaryLloyd.com/

After traveling significant distances, Michael Zimmerer began to see the world differently, especially the wilderness. It was no longer his childhood playground, a resource or a fantasy to explore; but environments that taught, learned and breathed on their own. In each of his projects he is not just documenting where he has traversed, but discovering and exploring what it means to be a place. He wants to encourage the viewer to reconsider their world, be it under the sky or inside their minds. His work is about seeing the world in a new way, not a new angle or a new development, but about vision and understanding. He wants to explore the Earth, and everything involved in it. Zimmerer’s work ranges from telling the story of an elegant land turned dark and decrepit, to the discovery of self, and how easily so many of us lose in ourselves that which seems impossible to really lose. In his images his goal is for people to find their roots in the world, and in themselves.

“Sea Shades”, a photographic series by Redinger-Libolt, the combined talents of Scott and Cristina Redinger-Libolt, explores the personality of our ocean as seen from Miami Beach and how it varies from day-to-day, minute-to-minute. Minimal and graphic compositions are employed in attempts to remove the photographer’s perspective and allow the sea it’s own voice, uniquely expressed in each photograph. Since moving to Miami Beach in 2009, Redinger-Libolt’s photographs have appeared in Ocean Drive, Miami Magazine, Interiors Magazine, Forbes, Conde Nast, Marie Claire and have exhibited photography at Miami Independent Thinkers Satellite Art Fair during Art Basel 2011. http://www.facebook.com/redingerliboltphoto

Miami’s Independent Thinkers is an organization dedicated to the unity, development and promotion of Miami’s flourishing art community. Our assemblage embraces established, emerging and young artists, visionaries and intellectuals. Our mission is to provide a sustainable support base for Miami’s creative community, including: painters, photographers, filmmakers, sculptors, animators, writers, musicians, performance and new media artists.

Ayurveda is the Indian traditional holistic approach to life and health. It roots back more than 5,000 years and is believed by many to be the oldest and more comprehensive health and wellness care system. The central concept of Ayurveda is the theory that health exists when there is a balance between three fundamental bodily humors or doshas called Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Every part of us is governed by these three doshas. Skin is no exception. Many skin conditions are thought to be caused by a dosha imbalance. If you know your skin dosha and which dosha is imbalanced, it will be easier to treat any skin conditions you have.

In this workshop, I will teach you the techniques to find out your skin dosha and help you detect any imbalances you may have. I can also help you simply maintain the health of your skin. I will then show you how to correct your skin issues with the help of Ayurvedic herbs and oils, diet, and lifestyle choices.
At the end of the workshop, all students will be able to make their own beauty products based on their skin type & challenges.

In this workshop you will:
1. Learn about the doshas and find out your dosha skin type
2. Learn the 7 beauty steps for healthy skin taught by Ayurveda
3. Learn to align your diet and lifestyle to your skin dosha or imbalances
4. Design your own dinacharya (daily routine) to enhance the health of your skin
5. Learn about the top Ayurvedic herbs for skincare, along with their uses and benefits
6. Formulate and take home authentic Ayurvedic skincare kit based on your dosha (1 herbal face pack, 1 scrub, and 1 cleanser)

Make your own Face & Body Moisturizing Cream

Over time, the sun and hot weather of Florida can really damage your skin, causing premature aging and wrinkles, along with dryness and burns. Skin needs to be nourished and moisturized. In this workshop you will learn to make your own cream to protect, restore, and heal your skin. Too many commercial creams and cosmetics have questionable or even toxic ingredients. When you make the cream yourself, you have clarity and confidence about what ingredients to use.

I will teach you about the benefits of ingredients used in formulating creams from hydrosols and oils to butters. We will go over the different techniques used to make creams (from heavy and deeply moisturizing to light, non-greasy and fast absorbing creams) with or without preservatives. Most importantly, you will get the confidence to make your own creams at home.

In this workshop you will:

1. Learn to treat specific skin issues, such as scars and wrinkles
2. Effectively use herbs in creams using tinctures & hydrosols
3. Learn to make anhydrous body creams (no water)
4. Learn to make creams without any emulsifiers
5. Learn about emulsifiers and emulsifying techniques
6. Learn the properties and benefits of oils, butters, & hydrosols
7. Learn to make water decoctions and medicinally infused oils
8. Make and take home: 1 body moisturizing cream adapted to your skin type and 1 make up remover lotion

Jorge Santiago (“Jsalsa”) is a native Puerto Rican salsa musician. In 1996, Orq. Expression was born in the Bronx, performing in many local events in New York City. This group of youths played salsa dura in New York’s streets where the NY Salsa style started. Jsalsa relocated to Miami when he was 28 years old, and has promoted his New York Latin flair ever since. His salsero attitude and rhythm are evident in all of the salsa shows he performs. His latest project unlocks and defrosts those great musical numbers that have brought so much dancing fun to all of us. “Bringing back Orq. Expression to play back the memories and rhythms of salsa dura” is his latest mission.

Guitars Over Guns, a Miami-based nonprofit that provides mentoring to at-risk youth through music education and performance, announced today that it will hold its first annual Choose Your Sound benefit concert on Saturday, August 23rd from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Gleason Room backstage at the Fillmore in Miami Beach (1700 Washington Ave). Tickets are available for $100 at http://bit.ly/GOGOGala.

Guitars Over Guns (GOGO) president and co-founder Chad Bernstein launched the organization in 2008 to formalize the ad-hoc mentoring that he and other members of the Miami band Suénalo were providing to local middle-schoolers. In partnership with Communities in Schools, the country’s largest dropout prevention organization, GOGO delivers a results-based, scalable model for bringing the joy and discipline of music-making to young people facing adversity in high-risk environments. Through its weekly programs, professional musicians forge positive relationships with students through one-on-one mentoring and instruction in music theory and performance.

“In addition to developing musicianship skills and strong relationships with local mentors, students who participate in Guitars Over Guns programs do better in school: 96 percent of GOGO students have improved their grades in math and reading,” said Bernstein. “The Choose Your Sound benefit concert will raise money to support our programs so that we can bring the transformative power of music to more students and schools in South Florida and beyond. We are thrilled to have a great lineup of bands and some of our community’s most prominent artists lending their support to our mission and joining us for what promises to be a fantastic evening of entertainment.”

Sponsored by Matusalem, Tito’s Vodka and Bombay Sapphire, the Choose Your Sound benefit concert will feature performances from local bands Suénalo, the Spam Allstars and Tomas Diaz as well as student musicians from the GOGO program. Roxanne Vargas of NBC’s 6 in the Mix will host the event, and singer and actor Jencarlos Canela will make a special appearance. There will also be a fine art exhibition featuring work from internationally renowned artist LEBO (who will create a one-of-a-kind painting to be auctioned that evening), Krave, Bhakti Baxter, Alvin Hernandez and Eva Ruiz, and a silent auction of unique gift packages and donated prizes.

“If I weren’t in GOGO I’d probably be susceptible to gang violence, street fights and drug abuse,” said Amelio Joseph, former student of the Guitars Over Guns Program. It’s just a way for me to express myself, to just get my feelings out there. Life without music is not life at all.”

For more information on Choose Your Sound and to purchase tickets, visit http://bit.ly/GOGOGala. To inquire about sponsorship opportunities for the event, please contact Chad Bernstein at chad@guitarsoverguns.org or at 847.420.6327. Ms. Mistor has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from the University of Detroit and Marygrove College, and is the Ceramics/Sculpture teacher at a private secondary school in Miami, Florida. She is an associate artist at the Bakehouse Art Complex, also in Miami, and an artist member of the Detroit Artist’s Market. She also has membership in the NAEA (National Art Educator’s Association). Ms. Mistor’s exhibition credits include: University of Detroit, Marygrove College (Detroit, Michigan), Detroit Artist’s Market, Gallery 24 (Bal Harbour, Florida), Brockway Memorial Library (Miami Shores, Florida), Mid-Hudson Arts and Sciences (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.), One Biscayne Tower (Miami, Florida), Bakehouse Art Complex (Miami, Florida), Kavachnina Contemporary Gallery (Miami, Florida), Sculpt Miami (Art Basel satellite fair in Wynwood Arts District, Miami, Florida), Violeta’s (Coral Gables, Florida), Best Sculpture Award in the Pembroke Pines Ninth Annual Juried Competition (Pembroke Pines, Florida), the Garden Building in Miami Design District, and Miami Country Day School, where she created two permanent ceramic installations. Her work is also in a number of private collections.

Alejandro Cuadra
Alejandro is a Costa Rican born Fine Artist and Graphic Designer who is currently living in South Florida. When he moved to Florida he obtained an Associate’s Degree in Art and Art Education from the Miami-Dade College and a Bachelor in Graphic Design from Miami International University of Art and Design, but to a large degree his education is a self-taught. He is an artist who enjoys working with different media, among them: color pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, watercolor, oil, acrylic paint and photography and digital art. Internationally renowned fashion designers Glen Miller for Ann Turk and Johanna Castillo showcase their fall collections Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the SLS Hotel South Beach. Set against the beautiful poolside of Hyde Beach, this interactive event blends the worlds of couture fashion, live music, digital media, and South Beach nightlife in an experience like no other.

The much-anticipated Fashion X Music Event Series will include hot, new looks from both Miller and Castillo along with live music by DJ SANDMAN. The night kicks off at 9PM as Miami’s fashion editors and buyers intermingle with an eclectic group of socialites, stars, and tastemakers. Digital Stars of Miami will also be present at the show, as the reality starlets play host to guests in attendance and bring the night to life for their fans that follow them online.

Fashion X Music Event Series is the brainchild of Stephan Morris of Carpe Collective Holdings and is a refreshingly new take on fashion and Miami nightlife. “We’ve created an experience like no other,” says Morris. “Miami needed a sophisticated, sexy, and interactive approach to showcasing fashion all year long. Hyde Beach at the SLS Hotel is the perfect venue and partner for this series.”

Collaborators on the series include Carrie Freedman, South Florida’s go-to stylist and fashionista, Fury Advertising, a boutique digital and events agency, Alloy Cars, a high-end builder of historic race cars, and Dry De Luxe, Florida’s elite blowdry lounge who will be styling the models’ hair for the show.

This VIP event is highly anticipated. There will be an open bar for guests from 9PM to 10PM courtesy of Van Gogh Vodka® and the fashion show will start at 10:30PM. All fashion lovers, press, and South Florida socialites are encouraged to attend. For 16 years, the Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, located in North Miami Beach, has been offering this important program led by Maestro Vladimir Issaev.

This year, the Summer Program’s faculty included teachers such as former prima ballerina from Boston Ballet, Larissa Ponomarenko, graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Russia and now a teacher of the company; Yelena Zabalkanskaya, current teacher at the Vaganova Ballet Academy; Master Andrei Bossov, also a graduate of the Vaganova Ballet Academy, Irina Lebedeva from the Perm School in Russia; Ruzana Iremashvili, from the Nina Aniashvili Ballet of Georgia in Ukraine; local teachers Jorge Robledo (Flamenco) Emilio Solé (Music) and Maria Risolia (Pilates) are part of the current faculty of Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida.

Called “…the new Latin sound of Miami” by the Miami Herald, PALO! has become a favorite among South Florida’s live music devotees. PALO! plays a style of music they call “Afro-Cuban Funk”. Their appeal lies in their unmatched musical energy, catchy original songs, and amazing display of impromptu virtuosity. A mix of vintage Latin rhythms and contemporary urban sounds gives PALO! their unique, infectious style.

PALO! was formed in 2003 when Steve Roitstein (producer, keyboards) asked musicians Leslie Cartaya (vocals), Ed Calle (sax), Philbert Armenteros (vocals, percussion) and Raymer Olalde (vocals, percussion) to join him in a musical experiment combining Afro-Cuban music and jazz with funk beats.

PALO! currently enjoys a popular residency at Kimbaracumbara in Little Havana. They also perform at Hoy como Ayer, South Beach’s Jazid, Jazziz Bistro at the Hard Rock Casino, the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, and other area venues. They have been featured at private events for clients such as the Kiwanis of Little Havana, Cuba Libre Block Party, Downtown Miami’s Best, the Amigos For Kids Charity, Miami Book Fair International, and events for the City of Miami.

Currently, PALO! is completing their first studio CD, and is being featured on South Florida’s #1 Arbitron rated morning drive radio program, “El Show de Enrique y Joe” on La Kalle, 98.3.

North Shore Bandshell is at 73rd St and Collins Ave, Miami Beach. Show is from 6-9; FREE.
