FSQ (Soul Clap Records) DJ sets draw upon on their extensive catalog of remix and original productions and quality dance music across a variety of styles including funk, disco, house, northern soul, and their own brand of Sly and Robbie influenced new wave, dubbed “Caribbean Disco”. This Miami Music Week Party 2019 pays tribute to the late legendary FSQ and Parliament-Funkadelic member Sa’d ‘The Hourchild’ Ali who passed away unexpectedly last year. FSQ DJs are Chuck Da Fonk and Chas Bronz. Also expect one of Sa’d’s favorite legendary DJs and friends to throw a special set TBA night of event.
Also FSQ selected some of the best talent for honor Sa’d’s legacy – for instance, Sergio Santos, a name in electronic music that has become synonymous with deep techno, dark disco, funk, and classic house with unique sounds and other world selections. Taking influence from both the United States and Portugal’s dance music scenes, Sergio has a sound unique to his life experiences and surrounding environments. Sergio and Sa’d last played together at Art Basel 2017. Sergio’s wonderful new concept is FUNKY PEOPLE, a diverse conglomerate of artists, hosting weekly and monthly residencies throughout NYC, providing the soundtrack to this FUNKY life and celebrating love and friendship.
Los Negros are record label mates of FSQ via Soul Clap / Crew Love. Their sets present the finest rare and classic selections across genres spanning house, disco, funk, latin, and soul. Miami locals, they’ve also been holding down 305 parties like Scooch at Coyo Taco, 1-800-Lucky and Vagabond Miami and their music has graced several soirees at Barter Wynnwood in the past. They made their official Soul Clap Records debut in 2017 on the Soul Clap led compilation “ThreeOhFive Life” including cuts from both Los Negros, and Shane Vincent solo. Los Negros are also known for their deeply funky “Summer Edits” series on Crew Love.
Queens New York City born Wendy Escobar, another dear friend of FSQ’s, was championed by Sa’d The Hourchild Ali for her production and DJ talent. Now Los Angeles based, Wendy first became a regular name among house heads as the voice of Traxsource Live with over 4 Million online and FM radio Listeners. Wendy now hosts her own radio Show, “Mood Swing”, signed to the acclaimed “This Is Distorted” alongside Defected Radio, Deadmau5 and Drumcode. A passionate digger and lover of the old school, Wendy plays house, techno & deep house in both digital and vinyl formats, mixed with a healthy dose of dance classics.

It took 3 award winning chefs teaming up with 3 phenomenal artists and 3 stunning influencers to create art pieces that showcase the sexual side of food. Food Porn Art Exhibit features @wallflowe12 Photography by Michael Leoncio, Jay “JBon” Bonadio JR @TheUnsigned, and Peterson Guerrier @Mr_Guerrier joined forces with award-winning Chefs Ralph Pagano, Brad Kilgore, and Max Santiago to create art pieces unlike any other.
Seen through the lens and photographed for the food-meets-art collaboration are influencers Bibiana Julian, TV personality, Astrid Bavaresco and one of Miami’s top females DJ’s, Michelle Pooch. Each photograph went through a process of artistic expressions created by Michael Leoncio @Wall- flowe12, Jay “JBon” Bonadio JR @TheUnsigned, and Peterson Guerrier. All three artists alongside the chefs brought a different and unique aspect to each art piece.
Michael Leoncio, known as @wallflowe12, is well known for tastefully depicting the nude human form with his images of masked nude models. Jbon, also known as “The Unsigned Artist”, has been shaking up the art scene for over a decade while keeping a low profile. Starting as a silk screen artist at the age of 15, he has evolved those skills into an original, luxurious “Neo- Mosaic” shattered glass concept of collections that he creates today. And last, but definitely not least Peterson Guerrier; known for creating artwork on canvases which are unique to properly showcase his style. Using a traditional fine art technique fused with an urban flare my work takes turns speaking jazz in a midnight setting, and bleeding emotions from an animalistic perspective.

The inaugural evening kicks off The Confidante’s new monthly dinner series aptly named The Confidante Dinner Club, which will feature a specially curated collaboration with a new spirit brand each month. Embracing the warm, welcoming and vibrant glamour of The Confidante, the evening will take place in The 1930s House, a private, outdoor Spanish-style bungalow originally built as a one-bedroom family home. Once located across the street from the Collins Avenue hotel, the structure was picked up by crane and relocated to The Backyard at The Confidante, where it currently resides. The evening features passed hors d’oeuvres and retro-themed welcome cocktails created in partnership with The Confidante’s food and beverage team and Tequila Revolución’s master mixologists. Renowned local chef Richard Hales, Chef/Partner of American-inspired on-site eatery Bird & Bone, will showcase a specially curated three-course menu expertly paired with three different expressions of Tequila Revolución.
Chef Hales and Sosa will be present to guide guests through the culinary journey, explaining how the flavors of each dish pair with the tequila. As a 15+ year veteran in the wine and spirits industry, Sosa has represented various prestigious tequila brands such as Patron, Sauza, Cazadores and Partida. After the food and spirits journey, guests will end the evening with a social hour complete with a cigar rolling station and open bar.

The Rainbow Bridge Motel is about a gay destination wedding gone wrong in Niagara Falls.
The film follows Darren and Dean, a gay couple from Arizona that buy an all inclusive wedding package to The Rainbow Bridge Motel.
When they arrive they discover the motel is sandwiched between chemical plants and is being run by some crazy guy named Shibbawitz and a Burmese refugee family that he’s hired to help manage and operate the motel with him.
