Considering the way images are indexed in the current exhibition, Image Search: Photography from the Collection, PAMM and The Miami Rail select The Ongoing Moment by Geoff Dyer as the Winter Reading Art book. Focusing on the ways in which canonical figures like Alfred Stieglitz, Paul Strand, Walker Evans, Andre Kertesz, Edward Weston, Dorothea Lange, Diane Arbus and William Eggleston have photographed the same things – barbershops, benches, hands, roads, signs – Geoff Dyer seeks to identify their signature styles. In doing so, he constructs a narrative in which these photographers – many of whom never met – constantly encounter one another.

-12pm Tour of Image Search: Photography from the Collection led by PAMM Associate Curator Diana Nawi

This workshop will help writers develop specific skills to tell their personal stories with a crafted sensibility. Participants will learn to focus their narrative voice, find a story’s arc, and use scene, characterization, and dialogue to organize the raw material of their lives. Work written during the workshop will be discussed in a non-judgmental environment designed to support each other’s individual skills. We’ll explore the differences between autobiography and memoir and address the idea of self-disclosure. We’ll also discuss the “gray areas” of nonfiction, including the tension between emotional and factual truth, and ideas about truth telling for memoirists. All levels welcome.

In this workshop, we will examine poems both from workshop participants and other poets that exemplify the use of place. We will also ask where is that place? Where is that physical place, that geographical place, and also where is that mental place? Is that place real, nostalgic, dreamt, etc.? Participants will bring to the workshop poems with these themes. Feedback will be given based on the Liz Lerhman method, which focuses feedback beginning from the artist place of inspiration and creative space, then from the reader’s/listener’s perspective—i.e. what the reader thought, felt, assimilated while reading the poem. Lastly, poets will be encouraged to appropriately render their poems out aloud—from their voice, their perspective, their place.

Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida continues its 2013-2014 Season with the presentation of the popular and fun ballet Doctor Ouch! which is part of a series for the enjoyment of the whole family,

Doctor Ouch! Is a story based on the poems of Korney Chukovsky, a renowned Russian author of children’s poetry, who by his inventiveness and his particular rhymes has been compared to the American author Theodor Seuss Geisel, creator Dr. Seuss and Hugh Lofting creator of the popular Dr. Doolittle.

This ballet, with music by I. Morozov and choreography by Master Vladimir Issaev, artistic director of the company, tells the story of a doctor who cures animals. The adventures begin when he receives the news that the monkeys in Africa are very sick. During his journey, accompanied by several of his animal friends, Dr. Ouch finds tropical birds and exotic species but also evil pirates that make the mission a difficult but quite funny adventure.

Dr. Ouch features dancers Kaori Fukui and Jun Tanabe, Lillian Hill and Hernan Montenegro as the exotic birds. They will be joined by the other 19 professional dancers from the company.

Dr. Ouch’s costumes are designed by Jorge Gallardo. Additionally, in a constant search for innovation, this year Digital Media Design created special visual effects and projections that will replace traditional curtains on stage.

Istanbul Rocks Miami with Gripin 3/1/14

Istanbul Rocks Miami with Gripin
Saturday, 03/01/2014, 11:00 pm-02:00 am
gripinWill Call Miami
700 Northeast Second Avenue
Miami, Florida 33312

International alternative rock icons, Gripin, will play Florida for the first time when they perform at Will Call Miami on Saturday, March 1st. Joining Gripin as special guest is Twenty7, a Los Angeles-based alternative rock/world music band with Turkish roots.

The four-piece rock delegates from Istanbul have developed an impressive following in Europe, while slowly building momentum here in America. Gripin’s first tour of the States in 2012 consisted of only six dates, whereas their 2014 American tour more than doubles their previous effort to thirteen and possibly more (to be announced soon). This includes two stops in Florida, their debut in Miami on March 1st, followed by a stop in Orlando the following night; as well as a showcase performance at the popular SXSW music conference in Austin, TX on March 11th. “We are very excited to get back on the road and have Twenty7 join us again. Not only did it make sense to do it again, but bigger and better and more dates,” expresses Gripin drummer, Ilker Balic.

Although the group is lesser known in America, the devotion of their large fan base abroad is significant. YouTube views are as high as 17 million, almost a quarter of the population of their country of origin.

Entry Fee: Free with museum admission

Every third Thursday evening, PAMM brings together an eclectic range of internationally-acclaimed DJs and musicians for an outdoor music series on the terrace by the bay. This month, PAMM Presents Los Angeles-based producer and artist Total Freedom.

Adventurous, often confrontational but always playful, a DJ set from LA’s producer and artist Ashland Mines, aka Total Freedom, draws listeners into a whirlwind of ever-evolving texture and sensation. Unafraid to assault crowds with jarring shifts in mood and tempo, in his hands, R&B-concrète collides with rap, grime and ballroom house, while sung vocals abruptly dissolve into swamps of syrupy, dragged-out noise swells. As akin to real-time sonic collage as typical dance music DJing, Mines’ free-associative approach places recogniseable hip hop and R&B glimpses within abrasive, rhythmically distorting sonic space, making the familiar thrillingly unfamiliar. Alongside LA friends and contemporaries like Nguzunguzu, Kingdom and Arca, he’s poised among the vanguard of a vibrant, still evolving new aesthetic in club music.

Mines has presented sound installation and performance work around the world for institutions such as MOCA, The New Museum, LACMA, the Whitney, Carnegie Museum of Art, MCA Chicago, and Tate Modern.

The series is free with museum admission, and all galleries are open throughout the evening. Food and drink specials are available for purchase. DJ set begins at 7pm.

Come one, come all!!! It’s the 100Th and final art installation of “for artists BY ARTISTS” this Sunday, February 16, 2014.

We launched December 4, 2011 with a concept and goal to feature local artists in a way no one had before. Now, after 26 months, featuring over 125 artists and well over 5,000 works of art displayed digitally, the longest running artist digital exhibition in North America will feature its closing exhibition and final unique presentation featuring Circ X, a boutique based interactive company, and one of the Knight Arts Challenge recipients.Founded and created by Diana Andrew-Lozano, we couldn’t have chosen a better featured artist or company to round out what has been a hard but worthwhile effort to provide a platform for local artists in South Florida to exhibit their unique works of artistic expression the past 2 plus years.

This will be an evening of celebration combining our standard signature recipe/fusion of the ARTS, MUSIC, CULINARY DELIGHTS, AND MIXOLOGY, which we’ve consistently provided the last 99 previous exhibitions leading up to this historical 100th exhibition. We’ll also be spearheading a fundraiser benefit for Circ X.

This promises to be a night filled with vignettes, interactive performances and a digital photographic exhibition highlighting a decade of prominent performances and great moments you won’t wanna miss.

Art of sound duties will be handled by the original for artists BY ARTISTS DJ GEORGE VIDAL along with the new featured residents CAMEE and J.DOLBY.LIVE!

Come be a part of an historical evening. Looking forward to seeing you there.

It’s the Grove the way the Grove once was. The 16th annual celebration of the original Gifford Lane Art Stroll will burst into colors, smiles, and rocking music along one usually sleepy little block of Gifford Lane between Oak and Day Avenues (3200 block) on Sunday, March 2nd from 12 noon to five o’clock.

The event features more than seventy visual artists displaying their works on the fences and in the front yards along the demure little lane, including a number of the finest artists in the region.

Once again this year, all of the participating artists at the Art Stroll will be giving a percentage of their sales to two Grove charities—this percentage will be added to contributions made by the public and neighbors living on the block. The two benefiting Grove charities are the St. Stephen’s AIDS Ministry and the St. Alban’s Day Care Center in the Village West. Each year, the Art Stroll donates 100% of the proceeds to the charities. More than $35,000 has been contributed to Grove charities since the Art Stroll began.

Informed by conventions of Hollywood film and television commercials, Judith Barry’s “Casual Shopper” (1980-81) presents a female protagonist wandering through a seemingly endless array of product displays.

The woman both follows and is followed by a male figure, who appears to exist somewhere between reality and fantasy, within a carefully structured and intoxicating elevator-music-filled department store. The piece conflates romantic desire with consumer desire, as both figures perpetually search. Following a screening of the 28-minute video in the auditorium, Judith Barry will be in conversation with PAMM Chief Curator and Deputy Director Tobias Ostrander, followed by a Q&A.

The winners, announced at www.acnd.net on February 14th, will be celebrated at a special reception at McCormick Place in Downtown Miami as part of First Friday Art Walk in Downtown Miami – a free community event. The special presentation at 7:30 p.m. will be followed by a tour of resident artist studios of Eleazar Delgado, Monique Lassooij, Andrea Beloff, Eva Avila, Andres Conde, Karen Kim, and more.

About McCormick Place:

The original building, constructed in 1924, was first a US Customs Warehouse serving as storage of confiscated goods and look-out post for the nefarious characters coming into Miami via the Biscayne Bay and the Miami River. The property was purchased in 1970 by Edward J. McCormick, Sr. ’59 (alumnus of ACND Prep) and dedicated to his father, Dr. James McCormick. Now, three generations later, Sean McCormick is reviving both this venue and the Downtown area, creating an epicenter for the cultural crossroads of Miami. McCormick Place is a vibrant production-based event space and houses studios of various well known artists.

For more than a decade with its landmark Fit for the Cure® program, Wacoal has educated more than half a million women about the importance of bra fit, foundation and breast health. Women should be professionally fitted for a bra at least once a year to ensure their cup and width size has not changed as a result of weight gain or loss, pregnancy, or other changes in their body. Florida International University’s Aesthetics & Values Art Exhibition

A&V 2014 Artists: Ray Azcuy, Carlos Betancourt, Tony Chirinos, Maritza
Molina, Ralph Provisero, Carol Prusa, Onajide Shabaka, Kyle
Trowbridge, and Michelle Weinberg.

MIAMI, FL (February 04, 2014) – QR codes painted with acrylic on
canvas, to prints redefining the idea of women roles in society, to
constructed domes holding the idea of the universe. This year’s 2014
Aesthetics & Values Exhibition (A&V) will have the guests in awe when
they attend the show with the different varieties of artwork being
portrayed. Curated, funded and presented by 39 Florida International
University (FIU) Honors college students who put plenty of hours in
order to make this exhibition possible. The exhibition features works
by nine local South Florida artists with works that are mostly
contemporary. The exhibition will run from February 12th, 2014 through
March 9th, 2014 at the Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum located
on 10975 Southwest 17th Street, Miami, Florida 33199. The exhibition
is free and open to the public. The reception is on February 12th,
2014 from 6 pm to 9 pm.

“A&V has taught us that Art makes a difference in society and
challenges our ideas. In our exhibition, we want to keep stimulating
this conversation and continue to push the boundaries,” said Alisa
Pazos, Advertising major. A&V is a class like no other. There is no
other class at FIU that the student’s sole responsibility and grade is
to curate an art exhibition. That means finding the artist, fund for
the event, organize for the reception, and curating the exhibition.
The 2014 A&V Exhibition will feature the works of Ray Azcuy, Carlos
Betancourt, Tony Chirinos, Maritza Molina, Ralph Provisero, Carol
Prusa, Onajide Shabaka, Kyle Trowbridge, and Michelle Weinberg.

“The A&V honors course offers great opportunity for students to engage
in art as well as provides tremendous service to the community as it
promotes interest and knowledge in art for participating students who
become our community leaders. Art education it critical in for
maintaining a dynamic and vibrant community,” said artist Carol Prusa.
As a visual artist, she is known for her contemporary and large-scale
use of silverpoint. Her pieces consist of acrylic hemispheres, and
then she uses the technique of silverpoint drawing to create the
design on the dome.

The Honors College professor and artist that started it all, John
Bailly, has been teaching this program for nine years. The Aesthetics
and Values project is for the students to get a understanding of how
art plays in our society and the controversial issues. The vast
majority of the students in the A&V class are not art majors; they
range from Finance to Biology majors. Each student, throughout the
course, gets to meet local artist, explore the art phenomenon that is
known in Miami today, work with a selected artist, and curate an art
exhibition. “The A&V student-curators solicit the artists, curate the
works, install the artwork, fundraise and produce the catalog, and
promote this exhibition entirely themselves. Their success in
organizing this exhibition reminds us that contemporary art is a
relevant and integral part of our lives,” said Professor John Bailly.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 the day of the show. Shakti Rising explores the concepts of pregnancy, birth and loss, expressing life at it’s very core through the art of dance, storytelling, music and ritual. The show features an array of dancers who will tell a powerful story through various styles of movement including, bellydance, North African, Afro-Cuban folklore, and modern. Both locally and internationally known artists will be collaborating in this unique project, including Hanan, Harmonic Motion, Marisol Blanco, Sikan Afro-Cuban Dance Project, Sonya Feldman, and Venus Rising. In addition, Mobile Midwives will host a  panel discussion of exploring health disparities  related to pregnancy and birth. Loss is a stark reality in the United States, where Black mothers and babies are dying at much higher rates than other races. The maternal mortality has climbed for the last three years in a row. Solutions such as breastfeeding, education and access to midwives will be addressed. Panelist include; Jamarah Amani, CO-Director, Mobile Midwife; Yeshimabeit Milner, Community Organizer, Power U Center for Social Change, Barbara Blott, Licensed Midwife and Jarene Fleming, University of Miami, Healthy Start Jasmine Project.

“Maya’s Labyrinth tells a personal, and yet universal story, inviting us to make a shift from the medical model of pregnancy and birth to the personal, from the mundane to the spiritual.   Shakti reminds us that becoming a mother is a rite of passage, a sacred miracle that connects us to a distant primal part of ourselves, and a sisterhood that is as old as time” states Corina Fitch, Shakti Rising, producer.

“Our panel discussion will share some community-based solutions to the high health disparities that our black mothers and babies face” states Jamarah Amani, CO-Director Mobile Midwife.

Leonard Turkel (1930-2011) was named the ‘Father of Florida condominiums” by The Miami Herald and was also the founder of the national restaurant company, The Orange Bowl Corporation. But behind the exterior of the successful entrepreneur, Leonard Turkel had a powerful social conscience. In addition to creating the South’s first anti-segregation sit-ins, he built a legacy including proper inner-city housing and health care, mobile ophthalmology labs and the Miami Midnight Basketball League for at-risk teenagers, Leonard Turkel was an artist who created hundreds of collages and assemblages that mirror his morals of social justice. Following Your Own Sense of Justice is a retrospective of his rarely seen artwork and is a true testament to the legacy of a man that proved to be one of Miami’s greatest mavericks of civic equality and community building. Auction proceeds will be used to provide scholarships for at-risk youth.

The Florida Guitar Foundation is proud to present Alvaro Pierri, a classical guitar legend, in concert on Friday February 21 at 8:00 pm at Clarke Recital Hall, University of Miami. This must-attend event, will be the Florida Guitar Foundation’s third performance for the 2013-2014 season.

Alvaro Pierri is internationally acclaimed as a leading personality in the world of the guitar. Press reviews around the world praise “his breathtaking phrasing“… “his masterly thought-out interpretations“…and “the unmatched musical colour spectrum that he creates on the guitar“.

He was born in Montevideo in Uruguay, in a family of musicians. From the age of 11 he was already receiving awards and first prizes in international guitar competitions. He studied among others with his aunt Olga Pierri, the composer Guido Santorsola and Abel Carlevaro.

Since his brilliant concert debut in New York and his debut in Germany with the string soloists of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Alvaro Pierri is a regular guest at major concert halls and radio and television stations in Europe, North and South America and Asia. Contemporary composers such as Leo Brouwer, Guido Santorsola, Francis Schwartz, Jacques Hétu, Abel Carlevaro, Carlo Domeniconi, Dusan Bogdanovic have written major works for Alvaro Pierri. He shared the stage with artists like Astor Piazzolla, Frank Peter Zimmermann, Terry Riley, Leo Brouwer, Charles Dutoit, etc.
Several of his CDs have been honored with prices like the coveted Canadian FELIX award for the best classical CD of the year. Recently Pioneer Classics Japan brought out a DVD featuring Spanish and South American guitar music, and Deutsche Grammophon re-published a DVD, Alvaro Pierri performing in duo with Astor Piazzolla.
Alvaro Pierri is also a worldwide acclaimed teacher. He was professor at the University of Santa Maria in Brazil and later at McGill University and the UQAM (Academy of Music) in Montreal, Canada. In 2002 he was appointed professor at the famous Academy of Music in Vienna (today University of Music and Performing Arts). He gives master classes at major music festivals such as the New York Manhattan Masters, GFA Guitar Foundation of America, at the Mozarteum Summer Academy in Salzburg, Vienna Masterclasses, Villa Musica, and in Tokyo, Osaka, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seoul, Brazil, etc.

In recognition of his outstanding artistic talent and carreer and his permanent enriching contribution to the culture, 2008 Alvaro Pierri was appointed as honorary citizen of his hometown Montevideo.

The Florida Guitar Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the awareness, education, promotion and appreciation of the classical guitar, an instrument of unsurpassed beauty and versatility. The Foundation sponsors public performances by world-renowned artists and aficionados, and strives to create and support a guitar community open to teachers, students, performers, and the listening public.

The Miami International Map Fair, the largest map fair in the world, will return to HistoryMiami February 8-9, 2014. This year, the Map Fair will be hosted in HistoryMiami’s newly expanded facility, the former home of the Miami Art Museum, adjacent to the museum’s current location on Downtown Miami’s Cultural Plaza.

Some of the interesting, rare and decorative maps to be showcased at this year’s fair include:
• van Keulen Map (1780) – Drawn earlier in the 18th century, this 1780 edition is considered a landmark in mapping Florida, Cuba and the Western Caribbean. The level of detail was well ahead of its time, including unprecedented accuracy in mapping the Florida Keys. Also included in the map were inset charts detailing developmental plans for the city of Havana, as well as charts of Matanzas Bay & Hondo Bay.
• Popple Map (1746) – The first map to show all Thirteen Colonies, including plans for harbor development along the Eastern seaboard, as well as archaic spellings of names like the ‘Western’/ ‘Atlantick’ Ocean and ‘South’ Sea, which we know today as the Pacific Ocean. Comprised of 20 sheets, the Popple Map is considered one of the two most important large- format maps of North America published in the 18th century. At a time when colonial control of North America was by no means certain, this map made a profound statement of England’s designs for dominance of the North American continent.

Held each year during the first weekend in February, the Miami International Map Fair provides both the serious collector and casual buyer with a weekend to browse antique maps, rare books, as well as attend a series of special topical lectures.

This year’s lecturers include:
• Alex J.C. Johnson, Ph.D. – author of the new book, The First Mapping of America: The General Survey of British North America, 1764-1775 (London: I.B. Tauris, 2014). He is a recognized academic and commercial specialist in historical geography, with a particular interest in the mapping of Great Britain and her former colonies in North America and the West Indies.
• Margaret Pritchard – the senior curator and curator of prints, maps and wallpaper for the Colonial Wiliamsburg Foundation. Margaret has lectured and published on topics relating to the collection for which she is responsible. Her most recent publication was a comprehensive catalog of the map collection at Colonial Williamsburg, Degress of Latutuide: Mapping Colonial America (Harry N. Abrams, 2002)
• Susan Schulten, Ph.D. – professor and chair of the history department at the University of Denver. She is the author of Mapping the Nation: History and Cartography in the Nineteenth-Century America (University of Chicago Press, 2012) and The Geographical Imagination in America, 1880-1950 (University of Chicago Press, 2001).

Also new to the fair for 2014 is a free, ‘Map-tacular’ Family Fun Day on Saturday, February 8. The Family Fun Day is open to the public and features interactive map exhibits for the whole family, as well as a photo opportunity with Super WHY from PBS Kids.

Pérez Art Musuem Miami will present Cortadito, a traditional Cuban Son ensemble that performs music from the 1920-50s. Influenced by the sounds of Son Montuno, Boleros and other early Cuban musical styles, this dynamic group brings you back to a time when Trio Matamoros and Ignacio Piniero ruled the airwaves. Enjoy dancing under the stars, a rum bar on on the terrace, and see paintings by Cuban modernist Amelia Peláez along with other works on views in the galleries.

Do you know why we eat yellow cheese? Find out in The Mice War, David Chesky’s absurdist opera for kids, presented by Orchestra Miami, in collaboration with the Florida Grand Opera.

The Mice War is a little story about the industrious Blue Mice that live in the North
and the passive Red Mice that live on an Island way in the south. The Blue Mice need to make more money so they decide they need to have a war. But what’s the reason for the war? The Blue Mice eat pink cheese and the Red Mice eat yellow cheese. What would happen if the Red Mice came and made the Blue Mice eat yellow Cheese?

The Mice War is an Opera for kids that teaches about the absurdity of war
and acceptance of cultural diversity while introducing them to classical music.
The performance features three Young Artists from the Florida Grand Opera accompanied by eight professional musicians form Orchestra Miami, conducted by Brian Onderdonk and directed by A. Scott Parry. This delightful program will last approximately 50 minutes and is perfect for children ages 3 and up.

The performance will be on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 4:00 PM at Pinecrest Gardens’ Banyan Bowl, located at 11000 SW 57 Avenue, Pinecrest, FL 33156. Tickets are $10 for Adults and $5 for children. Children 2 and younger admitted free of charge with lap seating only. Seating is by general admission and there is ample free, on-site parking. Tickets can be purchased online through Orchestra Miami’s website (www.OrchestraMiami.org) or by calling Brown Paper Tickets at (800) 838-3006.

In 1989 relatively unknown actors Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter became instant pop culture icons when they starred in BILL & TED’S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE. Two years later, they returned to the big screen in 1991 with the hugely underrated BILL & TED’S BOGUS JOURNEY. It has been 25 years since the theatrical release of the first film and while Keanu and Alex tease us with hints of a possible BILL & TED 3 in the works, Popcorn Nights & O Cinema decided that the existence alone of Bill & Ted is cause for celebration.

The Marlins Foundation is pleased to announce the second cycle of Compression for Life, a program that teaches heart health and provides CPR and first aid training to the youth at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami Dade.

In 2012, the Marlins Foundation and Catcher Jeff Urgelles launched a CPR class for the kids at the Boys and Girls Club of Miami Dade. This program was inspired by news of Urgelles’ vital role in saving the life of a young woman who had collapsed with cardiac arrest during a Marlins away game in Arizona.

“The Compression for Life Program helps our kids understand and learn the importance of CPR.” shares Alex Rodriguez-Roig, President of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami Dade. “We’re thankful to Jeff and the Marlins for helping make our community a safer and healthier place.”

During the first year of the program, Compression for Life taught the importance of heart health to over 100 youth at the Boys & Girls Club Hank Kline Campus, and provided CPR certification for twenty Boys & Girls Clubs employees. This year, the program will continue with additional support from the local American Heart Association and 911 Education Consultants to offer Compression for Life at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami Dade Kendall Campus.

A tertulia is a literary or artistic gathering for the purpose of discussion, a sort of salon. We invite you to a three-part tertulia focused on the exhibition Amelia Peláez: The Craft of Modernity.

Part one – Amelia’s Architectural Precedents – Raul L. Rodriguez, AIA
The integration of the built environment into the work of Amelia Pelaéz is evident. Rodriguez illustrates how three cultural streams syncretized and influenced twentieth century art in Cuba.

Part two – “Magnificent Femininity”: Critical Interpretations of Amelia Peláez del Casal – Ingrid W. Elliott, Ph.D.
Contemporary critics paid a great deal of attention to Peláez’s position as a female artist; particular consideration was given to the notion of “femininity” in relation to her painting. Elliott assesses the ways in which Peláez’s expression of craft and domesticity are in dialogue with these gendered interpretations of her work by her peers.

Part three – Finding Amelia: Excerpts from RUM & COKE – Carmen Peláez
The artist’s great-niece performs a staged reading of excerpts from her play RUM & COKE. After seeing a Peláez painting in person for the first time, the protagonist decides to go to Cuba, hoping to discover what makes beautiful, beautiful.

In Miami, NFL superstars Jonathan Vilma of the New Orleans Saints, Jon Beason of the New York Giants, and DJ Williams of the Chicago Bears own Miami’s hot NY transplant BBQ joint, Brother Jimmy’s. Who knows how to throw the best super bowl party in town, other than current players themselves? Starting at 4pm, the courtyard at Mary Brickell Village will be transformed for a Super Bowl Sunday Tailgate featuring Lisa Morales of Miami Model Citizens doing calendar signings, stage set up for a live band and sounds by DJ Vertigo. Followed by the game on a jumbo screen, along with 30 HDTVs and Miami VIPs.

Superbowl on The Go (With Brother Jimmy’s):
Cater your super bowl party with what the players eat, home-style slow-smoked BBQ from Brother Jimmy’s. Super Bowl package for 15 people includes 90 BBQ wings, 3 pounds of Rib tips, 30 mini’s (choice of pork, chicken, or brisket), 64 ounces of both Potato salad/slaw and BBQ beans, and don’t forget 28 pieces of cornbread. Package is $350 + tax. Thinking bigger? Double the above package for $700 + tax.
