Walrus Rodeo, beloved sassy younger sister of Michelin-starred Boia De, will be launching a monthly wine series. Italian cuisine varies greatly in different regions and each month, the restaurant will showcase a specific region’s wines and cuisine. First up, Piemonte and its wines and cuisine. The region, located in northwestern Italy is renowned for its rich culinary tradition and iconic wines like Barolo and Barbaresco and dishes like vitello tonnato and bagna cauda.
On Tuesday, April 22, diners will be able to enjoy a five-course meal ($85++) paired with five different vintages from the region (additional $85++). Wine specials by the glass will also be available.

On Thursday, Oct. 24, Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer, Brickell’s newest burger concept known for its globally recognized menu, award-winning NYC-style burgers, and whimsical CrazyShakes®, is teaming up with one of Miami’s most beloved craft breweries, Tripping Animals Brewing Co., for a one-night, pairing dinner. Guests will experience an inventive fusion menu created by Black Tap’s Corporate Executive Chef Stephen Parker, who is infusing Tripping Animals brews into the exclusive four-course dinner. Pairings include Beer-Battered Chicken Fried Oysters, Fork-and-Knife Korean BBQ Soft Shell Crab Sandwiches, a Hazy Cubano Frita burger, Strawberry Lime Dump Cake, and more. For the month of October, Mandarin Oriental, Miami is partnering with Susan G. Komen Foundation in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A variety of pink themed food and beverage specials will be running all month long throughout the hotel, with a percentage of proceeds from these experiences being donated to the foundation at the end of the month. La Mar by Gaston Acurio will offer its signature ‘Pink Causa for a Cause’ for a limited-time, featuring a ribbon-shaped terrine of potato purée with a pink tint, elegantly layered with crabmeat, sunchokes, Peruvian trout, shrimp cocktail, avocado, smoked trout roe, and a rich huancaina sauce, crafted by Executive Chef Diego Oka.
