Through the duration of all four days, artists and musicians alike will be unleashing their pieces as they transform the space into a kaleidoscope of visual art and sounds. By creating immersive environments in venues all throughout Miami, Secret Garden captures the mix of cultures cultivated in Miami and supports emerging local and international artists.

In association with Secret Garden, Superchief Gallery and Juxtapoz Magazine as media sponsor have curated a line-up of artists featuring some of the most notable acts in visual arts and music. With their goal being to give artists from any scene a platform to participate in larger communities and share their art, Superchief Gallery and Juxtapoz are an extension of the cultural landscape in the community, giving artists the opportunity to explore the raw and honest emotions they want to share with the rest of the world.

This year’s lineup features some of the most notable acts in visual arts and music who will be collaborating with us to create an out-of-this-world experience. Explore multiple rooms converted by talented artists that were joined together by Superchief Gallery and Juxtapoz Magazine. Hand-picked vendors will be displaying their own amazing artwork, crafts, food and beverages throughout the market for your enjoyment.

There will be music for all kinds of ears, from House Music to Latin and even Rock, as we celebrate on the final day, July 7th, and come together in support of Venezuela.Secret Garden will be featuring music from Caramelos De Cianuro, Los Amigos Invisibles Caseroloops, Los Wizzards, Maurimixx & many more! Moon River Cabaret returns to Wynwood with another monthly production of The Garter at Barter.

Since January of this year… Miami audiences have experienced these addcitingly entertaining & successfully produced, original burlesque spectacles at Wynwood’s latest home for live entertainment with The Garter at Barter, every month with a new cast and the same powerhouse performances that have brought audiences, both seasoned and newcomers alike, to revere this cherished American art-form.

Moon River Cabaret returns to Wynwood with another monthly production of The Garter at Barter.

After four months of successfully produced sold-out burlesque spectacles at Wynwood’s latest home for live entertainment, The Garter returns to Barter with a new cast and the same powerhouse performances that have brought audiences, both seasoned and newcomers alike, to revere this cherished American art-form.

Barter, with its vintage decor and homey vibe welcomes lovers of great dining, connoisseurs of fine cocktails, and those who enjoy being entertained with an in-your-face live cabaret and comedy show filled with music, song, and the art of striptease.

The show will feature some of Florida’s most formidable talent for a full two hours. There will be a full menu which can be found on their website, full service, full liquor bar, with bottle service and specials on wine & liquor bottles throughout the night.

David Del Rosario has always been a comedic performer. Described as a freeform high energy character driven comic with an edge, in 2005 he had already performed improv and his first stand up comedy acts alongside Comedy Central Present’s very own Al Jackson. In 2009, David created the live sketch comedy show “Category Seven” and then joined Just The Funny Theatre in 2010. In 2011, as a member of the JTF Theater main stage cast; he was given the ability to redefine sketch and improv comedy as a member of the team “Special In A Bad Way”. The group has gone on to receive notoriety in The Miami Herald & The New Times.

The Brooklyn-based nonet —Dave Brandwein [guitar, vocals], Taylor Shell [bass], Craig Brodhead [guitar, keys], Michelangelo Carubba [drums], Chris Brouwers [trumpet, keys], Greg Sanderson [tenor sax], Josh Schwartz [baritone sax, vocals], Sammi Garett [vocals], and Shira Elias [vocals]—ignite an explosion of energy punctuated by neon hues, deft musicality, and show-stopping sing-alongs on their fifth full-length album, Life In The City.

The album, which includes co-production work from Jerry Harrison of The Talking Heads, sees the band stretch their sonic palette and cover new ground lyrically as they grapple with reality and get personal, finding the light in what can sometimes be a dark world. FSQ (Soul Clap Records) DJ sets draw upon on their extensive catalog of remix and original productions and quality dance music across a variety of styles including funk, disco, house, northern soul, and their own brand of Sly and Robbie influenced new wave, dubbed “Caribbean Disco”. This Miami Music Week Party 2019 pays tribute to the late legendary FSQ and Parliament-Funkadelic member Sa’d ‘The Hourchild’ Ali who passed away unexpectedly last year. FSQ DJs are Chuck Da Fonk and Chas Bronz. Also expect one of Sa’d’s favorite legendary DJs and friends to throw a special set TBA night of event.

Also FSQ selected some of the best talent for honor Sa’d’s legacy – for instance, Sergio Santos, a name in electronic music that has become synonymous with deep techno, dark disco, funk, and classic house with unique sounds and other world selections. Taking influence from both the United States and Portugal’s dance music scenes, Sergio has a sound unique to his life experiences and surrounding environments. Sergio and Sa’d last played together at Art Basel 2017. Sergio’s wonderful new concept is FUNKY PEOPLE, a diverse conglomerate of artists, hosting weekly and monthly residencies throughout NYC, providing the soundtrack to this FUNKY life and celebrating love and friendship.

Los Negros are record label mates of FSQ via Soul Clap / Crew Love. Their sets present the finest rare and classic selections across genres spanning house, disco, funk, latin, and soul. Miami locals, they’ve also been holding down 305 parties like Scooch at Coyo Taco, 1-800-Lucky and Vagabond Miami and their music has graced several soirees at Barter Wynnwood in the past. They made their official Soul Clap Records debut in 2017 on the Soul Clap led compilation “ThreeOhFive Life” including cuts from both Los Negros, and Shane Vincent solo. Los Negros are also known for their deeply funky “Summer Edits” series on Crew Love.

Queens New York City born Wendy Escobar, another dear friend of FSQ’s, was championed by Sa’d The Hourchild Ali for her production and DJ talent. Now Los Angeles based, Wendy first became a regular name among house heads as the voice of Traxsource Live with over 4 Million online and FM radio Listeners. Wendy now hosts her own radio Show, “Mood Swing”, signed to the acclaimed “This Is Distorted” alongside Defected Radio, Deadmau5 and Drumcode. A passionate digger and lover of the old school, Wendy plays house, techno & deep house in both digital and vinyl formats, mixed with a healthy dose of dance classics.

Calling all art and foodie enthusiasts! Naked Taco, located in the prime of South Beach, has teamed up with extremely talented artists and brilliant chefs to bring to life a Food Porn Art Exhibit. It took 3 award winning chefs teaming up with 3 phenomenal artists and 3 stunning influencers to create art pieces that showcase the sexual side of food. Food Porn Art Exhibit features @wallflowe12 Photography by Michael Leoncio, Jay “JBon” Bonadio JR @TheUnsigned, and Peterson Guerrier @Mr_Guerrier joined forces with award-winning Chefs Ralph Pagano, Brad Kilgore, and Max Santiago to create art pieces unlike any other.

Seen through the lens and photographed for the food-meets-art collaboration are influencers Bibiana Julian, TV personality, Astrid Bavaresco and one of Miami’s top females DJ’s, Michelle Pooch. Each photograph went through a process of artistic expressions created by Michael Leoncio @Wall- flowe12, Jay “JBon” Bonadio JR @TheUnsigned, and Peterson Guerrier. All three artists alongside the chefs brought a different and unique aspect to each art piece.

Michael Leoncio, known as @wallflowe12, is well known for tastefully depicting the nude human form with his images of masked nude models. Jbon, also known as “The Unsigned Artist”, has been shaking up the art scene for over a decade while keeping a low profile. Starting as a silk screen artist at the age of 15, he has evolved those skills into an original, luxurious “Neo- Mosaic” shattered glass concept of collections that he creates today. And last, but definitely not least Peterson Guerrier; known for creating artwork on canvases which are unique to properly showcase his style. Using a traditional fine art technique fused with an urban flare my work takes turns speaking jazz in a midnight setting, and bleeding emotions from an animalistic perspective.

Taking place Friday, December 7, Brightline has partnered with Perrier Jouet and Absolute Elyx to bring riders an evening of champagne, specialty cocktails and nonstop entertainment. New to this edition of The Tasting Train is performances by Miami’s own Karla Croqueta, Charlie Chaplin, live contortionists and DJs all aboard the train. This immersive journey, perfect for lovers of art and luxury spirits, begins in West Palm Beach on board Brightline’s 7 p.m. train, with Perrier Jouet sampling along the entire route to Fort Lauderdale and Miami.

The Tasting Train experience continues with a visual feast upon arrival at Brightline Miami Central Station’s Select Lounge and the signature copper embellishments of Absolute Elyx set against incredible views of Biscayne Bay and the Downtown Miami skyline. This lively reception will feature live music, multiple tasting stations serving Perrier Jouet and signature Absolute Elyx cocktails; carefully selected cuisine options will be served as you enjoy the libations, all included with ticket purchase.

Guests can either return home to Fort Lauderdale or West Palm Beach in comfort via Brightline or choose to stay in Miami and experience all the city has to offer during Art Basel.

Tickets for The Tasting Train, which include the Perrier Jouet tasting on the train and Select Lounge Event are $200 and tickets to attend the Select Lounge event in Miami are $175. All tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite. The Tasting Train departs West Palm Beach at 7 p.m. and Fort Lauderdale at 7:39 p.m., arriving in Miami at 8:14 p.m. for the lounge experience. The return train departs at 9:43 p.m. from Miami Central.

Brightline will also be offering a 2018 Art Basel Pass, perfect for those who want to avoid the infamous Basel traffic coming from West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale area. The pass includes four round trip passes from any station between December 6 and 9 for $100 in Smart service and $250 for Select service.
