“We strive to make our GreenRaiser a fun and classy fundraising event. It educates our guests on a variety of sustainability concepts and initiatives, while providing ECOMB with the needed financial support that allows us to continue carrying out our mission.”
Luiz Rodrigues, ECOMB Executive Director.

Sebastian Jimenez, from HSBC Private Bank International, and The Four Seasons Miami, a Florida Green Lodging Certified hotel, will host ECOMB as we kick-off our main fundraising event of the year: The 2012 GreenRaiser, taking place April 20. This event aims to create awareness for Miami and Miami Beach’s environmental issues and will enable ECOMB to maintain and enhance a bevy of initiatives to protect and preserve our local ecosystem, educate residents and continue to champion the green cause locally; it will also help further the restoration of the organization’s new environmental education center.

As in past fundraising events, ECOMB’s GreenRaiser will bring together a variety of people, products and practices of sustainability in an exciting evening of music, eco-fashion, silent auction, raffle prizes, eco-friendly cocktails and bites, and more. ECOMB will also honor our community’s best environmental leaders with the Annual Emerald City Award. If you would like to nominate someone, please contact Luiz Rodrigues at luiz@ecomb.org.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: ECOMB will present renderings of the proposed design for its Miami Beach Center for the Environment located at 210 Second Street, Miami Beach, which was donated by the City of Miami Beach in 2010.
