Participation is FREE for all IKEA Family members, and any skill level is welcome! From pixel-perfect recreations to creative DIY original characters, we want to see your favorite gaming-inspired looks. Compete for epic prizes, show off your cosplay, and connect with fellow gamers after the event at our gaming FIKA.

A panel of three judges will evaluate each cosplay based on the following criteria:
• Creativity & originality (25%)
• Performance & Character Portrayal (25%)
• Overall Execution/Quality (50%)

Arrive Early:
Check in at the Swedish Restaurant Registration Table prior to 4:30 PM on 10/10/2026 for roll call.
Cosplay Requirements:
Costumes must be inspired by characters from video games. All costumes must be family-friendly and appropriate for a public event.

Open to residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, age 18 or older, who are: (i) legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia and at least 18 years of age (19 in AL and NE) at the time of entry, (ii) registered members in good standing of the IKEA Family Program at the time of entry, and (iii) previously RSVP’d using the online event page.
