Join us for the exhibition opening of La Habana Moderna in the Wolfsonian Teaching Gallery at The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum. Drawing on The Wolfsonian’s collection of architectural materials, graphic design, and other media, La Habana Moderna explores the emergence of a modern identity for the city of Havana in the decades before the Cuban Revolution and the contribution of international commercial and cultural links. The exhibition is co-curated by Marilys Nepomechie, associate professor at the FIU School of Architecture, and made possible with financial support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
