WHAT: Several former University of Miami and current All-Pro players including San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore, Carolina Panthers linebacker Jon Beason and Chicago Bears tight end Greg Olsen, along with more than nine potential first and second round draft picks from Jason Pierre-Paul (University of South Florida), Carlos Dunlap (University of Florida) to University of Miami’s Jason Fox and Darryl Sharpton will be on-hand to help commemorate the opening of a new performance training and medicine center at Fairmont Turnberry Isle.

Led by Pete Bommarito of Bommarito Performance Systems and Dr. Matthew Cooper of USA Sports Therapy, the revolutionary fitness program will elevate the 300-acre resort to new heights positioning the Fairmont Turnberry Isle as an elite global destination for the most comprehensive health and wellness offerings in the country. Over $150,000 was spent on new state-of-the-art equipment including the AlterG treadmill, which uses NASA based anti-gravity technology. A superior level of training, rehabilitation and nutritional services is made available to Fairmont Turnberry Isle resort guests and private club members, locals and elite athletes.

Pete Bommarito, president of Bommarito Performance Systems, brings vast amounts of experience in both the athletic and general populations, and is considered to be one of the top coaches in the industry for his innovative, scientifically-based approach to sport-specific training. Dr. Matthew Cooper, president of USA Sports Therapy, is a certified chiropractic sports physician, specializing in sports rehabilitation, injury prevention and nutrition through enzyme therapy. His team remains on the cutting edge in treatment techniques and methodologies. His expertise lies in assessing the body and designing individualized rehabilitation techniques specific to ones injury, sports, nutritional composition and goals.
