Guy Richards gears his humor toward himself as he is truly bipolar. Guy was diagnosed in 2000, with a severe Bipolar disorder. Guy has now taken his Illness, as well as his trials and tribulations and brings it to the stage into a brighter light with his comic abilities; to let others know it is ok and everything is possible and nothing is impossible. Richards passes on a powerful message, not only with his comedy, but also doing lectures relating to his condition.
As a performer, Richards is a versatile and multi-talented entertainer. He sings, dances, does characterizations, produces and directs. His high energy comedy is not only infectious but contagious. Richards is whacky, zany and full of life. He has appeared on Television, in Films on Broadway, in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, Casino Magic, Ballys and tours nationwide. Richards is currently shooting a new film on Miami’s famous South Beach. He recently finished an award-winning documentary film entitled “Mr. Laughs A Look Behind The Curtain.” DVD Now available on amonzon.com (Mr. Laughs).
