Miami Is An Island is proud to present the works of Haitian American photographer Patrice Esperant.

Patrice Esperant is a photographer from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, now based in Miami. Shooting on film and digital since 2015, he documents daily life in Port-au-Prince: portraits, markets, processions and street scenes. The work focuses on gesture, light and texture, recording small acts of joy and resilience in an unvarnished, observational style.
