The Coconut Grove Business Improvement District brings back Mom’s Day Off on Saturday, May 9, 2026, offering Miami moms a chance to enjoy a day in Coconut Grove ahead of Mother’s Day. The event features a curated lineup of wellness, fitness, dining and social experiences throughout the neighborhood, including a free first class at Sweat 440, mahjong with mimosas and light bites at Il Giardino at Mr. C Miami, a make-your-own ceviche class at Jaguar Restaurant and roller skating with Bayskate Miami at The Hangar at Regatta Harbour. Registered attendees can also receive up to three hours of complimentary on-site childcare through Grove Academy. Children must be potty trained or at least 4 years old. Childcare spots are limited and advance registration is required. Moms are encouraged to enjoy the featured activations, then spend the day exploring Coconut Grove’s restaurants, shops and waterfront at their own pace. Activities Include: Sweat 440 8 a.m.–noon Includes a free first class, on-site DJ and complimentary lymphatic drainage massage. Mahjong Class with Abby of Mahj in Miami 10 a.m.–noon Located at Il Giardino at Mr. C Miami. Designed for moms who already know how to play. Includes mimosas and light bites. Bayskate Miami Roller Skating Noon–4 p.m. Located at The Hangar at Regatta Harbour. Guests are invited to bring their roller skates and enjoy the vibe. Make Your Own Ceviche Class at Jaguar Restaurant 1–3 p.m. Includes a one-hour ceviche class, DJ, karaoke, cocktails and a fun, social atmosphere. Complimentary Childcare at Grove Academy 9 a.m.–noon and 1–4 p.m. Registered attendees can receive up to three hours of complimentary childcare.
