Lakou, Miami’s cultural backyard and go-to destination for food, art, and music, will host one of the top events of the week: the EGO Album Release Party by Haitian-American artist Niska Garoute (stage name Kanis “SKA”), featuring a full art exhibition.

Taking place Friday, November 21 at 8PM, the immersive evening blends food, drinks, music, art, and live performances as guests step into the world of EGO – a sixteen song album paired with a collection of sixteen original artworks that visually interpret the emotions, themes, lessons and stories behind the music. The night includes a DJ set by Kanis and friends, a live drum performance, SKA’s full visual gallery, merch signing, and food and cocktails celebrating Haitian culture, all set within Lakou’s vibrant open-air space. A celebration of culture, artistry and community energy, this is one of the week’s must-attend events in Miami’s creative scene.
