Miami, FL – December 3, 2015 – On Thursday, December 17, Critical Resistance, Dream Defenders and Power U Center for Social Change will host America’s Most (Un)Wanted Fight Back: Ending Criminalization and the Prison Industrial Complex, a public conversation with Dr. Angela Y. Davis. This is her first public appearance in Miami in 15 years. The event, which is a fundraiser for all three organizations, will be held at 7pm at Barry University’s Shepard and Ruth K. Broad Performing Arts Center – 11300 NE 2nd Avenue, Miami Shores, FL – with doors opening at 6:00pm.
