Miami New Times’ Iron Fork is back at Grand Central on October 18th from 7 to 10 p.m., with VIPs getting an extra hour of tasting and partying at 6 p.m.

Sample food from over 40 of Miami’s top restaurants and food trucks and watch as former Top Chef contestant, Chef Kenny Gilbert of Swine Southern Table & Bar battles it out with Chef Daniel Serfer, of Blue Collar for the coveted Iron Fork.

This year’s big event is Presented by the Miami Downtown Development Authority. And what’s a cool event without a cause? Iron Fork also benefits the United Way of Miami-Dade.

The event, which is curated by celebrity chef Allen Susser, features two Chef Challenges. It’s simple: each chef will receive a basket of ingredients, including one mystery ingredient. It’s up to them to battle for the glory and the coveted Iron Fork award.

And the battles won’t be relegated to traditional chefs. Even food trucks will get in on the action with the Fighting Food Trucks Best of Battle, featuring Mr. Good Stuff vs Palate Party!
