NFOH is proud to kick-off the New Year with the 1st Annual NYE Party For A Cause Black-Tie event for Haiti. Marchand Dessalines is one of the “birthplaces” of the Cholera Outbreak in Haiti. The outbreak of cholera, confirmed on October 21, 2010, has killed 6000 people and more than 350,000 have been infected. There are thousands of new cases of the disease reported daily. NFOH, Let Haiti Drink.org, Peregrine Partners Group and United Haitian Artists unite to provide a REAL solution for Haiti! The star-studded Black-Tie signature NYE event will be the Hottest Ticket In Town.

Live from Fat Village in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale the biggest Haitian Stars on the planet “Join The Line” to use their “Celebrity” to impact change for their native land. The Pre-Independence Day Celebration will kick-off with a mesmerizing Red Carpet performance on December 31st at 9pm sharp. The evening will feature command mainstage musical performances by: Jazz Guitar phenom Rickcene Ulysse & SRS Band, Jazz Sensation Bemol Telfort, Super-Group Zenglen and the legendary Dadou Pasquet and Magnum Band of Haiti.

NFOH is also proud to present the World Premiere of “The Silent Call From Haiti” Art Exhibit. The exhibition, will kick-off with a surprise celebrity performance by Haitian Diva Carole Demesmin, founder of United Haitian Artists, features renowned curators/artists Carl Craig, Guy Syllien, Kristo Nicolas and Turgo Bastien. The 10,000 square feet installation will also showcase dynamic spell-binding works from Haitian Art luminaries from around the globe such as Nzingah Oniwusan, Ronald Syllien, Robert Sylvain, Jude Papaloko, Francois Ricles Garcia and Michael Brudent. NFOH guests will be transported into an enchanted Winter Wonderland by noted curators Jim Hammond, Leah Brown, Peter Symons, Jamey Grimes, Christian Feneck, Grant Bloodgood and Chris Kuonen where they will enjoy delectable Haitian cuisine courses by renowned Celebrity Chef Creole.
