Gymboree Play & Music announces the opening of a new location in Miami at the Village of Merrick Park shopping center in Coral Gables. Owner Coni Goudie will hold the Grand Opening festivities of Gymboree Merrick Park on January 29th, 2011, from 10:00AM-2:00PM.

The grand opening of the Merrick Park center will consist of a variety of activities for both children and parents, including class demonstrations and opportunities for children to explore the play equipment during “Open Gym” from 10:00AM-11:30AM. The Gymboree mascot, Gymbo, will be making appearances throughout the day. Other activities will include story time, puppetry, giveaways and special offers. Attendees will be offered discounted new memberships as well as referral incentives.

Goudie opened the first Gymboree Play & Music center in Miami in 1983, in the social room of a temple in Coral Gables. She currently owns two other Gymboree centers in Kendall and Pinecrest, located at 8530 SW 124 Avenue and 11845 S. Dixie Highway, respectively.

Gymboree Merrick Park is located at 358 San Lorenzo Avenue, Coral Gables, on the third floor of the Village of Merrick Park shopping center next to Border’s Bookstore. For further information and details, contact coralgablesfl@gymboreeclasses.com or call at 305.970.1551.
