Cecconi’s Set to Open in Miami’s Soho Beach House

Soho House Group announces the opening of the third location of its popular restaurant, Cecconi’s, on October 11th, which will debut as part of the new Soho Beach House in Miami. Overseeing the kitchen and executing the classic Venetian-influenced menu is acclaimed Executive Chef Sergio Sigala.

Inspired by the original London location—which was founded in 1978 and modeled after the first Cipriani in Venice, Italy,—the 150-seat Cecconi’s Miami is located on the ground floor of Soho Beach House, the recently renovated Art Deco Sovereign Hotel. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in an intimate setting, Cecconi’s offers superior service and is sure to entice the discerning tastes of its fellow Miami denizens and savvy visitors alike. The restaurant exudes the perfect blend of elegantly traditional cuisine and a relaxed atmosphere.

Sigala brings to Cecconi’s Miami a pedigree earned in some of the most esteemed kitchens in the world including Michelin-starred restaurants Al Bersagliere in Goito, Italy, and Ristorante Villa Fiordaliso in Lake Garda, Italy. Additionally, he was Chef of Italian Cuisine at the Sheraton Bahrain Hotel where he catered private parties and royal weddings at 16 different palaces for dignitaries such as the Sultan of Bahrain, Prince Charles and Nelson Mandela. For the past 10 years, this Northern Italian native was Executive Chef at Miami’s celebrated eatery, Casa Tua.

An ardent practitioner of sourcing quality, seasonal ingredients and using simple preparations, Sigala will add his own unique spin to the Cecconi’s Miami menu. He features all the same beloved dishes from the restaurant’s sister locations worldwide coupled with a robust steak and seafood program.

Menu highlights include Wood-Oven Roast Scallops with Pancetta and Rosemary; Kobe Beef Tartare with Truffle and Pecorino; Burrata, Red Onion and Fresh Tomato Pizza; Maine Lobster with House-made Spaghetti; Veal Ossobuco with Gremolata; and a first-rate selection of prime steaks served with truffle jus and garlic confit.

Whether they’re having a meal in the main dining room or simply grabbing drinks at the restaurant’s 14-seat bar, Cecconi’s guests can enjoy a diverse beverage program which features a 230-bottle wine list with a bevy of Italian, Spanish and South American selections; a choice variety of international and domestic beers; and handcrafted cocktails that consist of traditional Italian favorites alongside caipirinhas, mojitos and other libations which pay homage to Miami’s mix of Caribbean and Latin influences.

Additionally, the restaurant design includes antique Nile green stripped tile floors, allusive of the incredible hue of the nearby sea, and a garden of Silver Buttonwood trees.
