La Riviera, Sofitel Miami’s upscale French restaurant, will hold the September edition of its ongoing Wine Pairing Dinner Series this September 23 featuring a Haute Cuisine & Champagne Rose-themed menu pairing delicious and beautifully prepared French cuisine with some of that country’s most interesting Champagnes. Each month Executive Chef Pierre Sudre unveils a special meal with deliciously paired wines. This event will appeal to those looking to discover a new kind of after-work happy hour spot, an opportunity to learn about pairing food with wine and Champagne, and an all-around unique experience of sharing, tasting, and good times.
For September, Chef Sudre is preparing a menu that includes blue point oysters, homemade foie gras, red wine poached pears, toasted brioche, duck magret served rosé, and spicy turnips and glazed cranberries. Chef Sudre, a native of South France, specializes in French cuisine with a contemporary twist and also enjoys combining the styles and flavors from his experience cooking around the world.
