Before you know it, summer will be over and it will be Back to School time. Join us August 14th for our “Back to Cool” Party at Cool-de-sac.

Pop Artist Ed King, will be on hand from 11am-1pm for a Cool Art Workshop, then at 4pm the Cool Pep Rally starts featuring cheerleaders, marching band and after school enrichment demos by Math Monkey, Perfect Balance Karate, and many more!

You can receive FREE admission when you donate a school supply pack for a child living in foster care. Most of the children removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect leave with only the clothing on the backs. You can help them start the school year off right by donating supplies! We have teamed up with School Stuff Plus to make it easy to donate exactly what the kids need. You can pre-purchase your Supply Pack Here, then just bring your receipt to receive FREE admission. Or if you prefer, you can purchase at the door!

Family Resource Center of South Florida was founded in 1978 by a group of community leaders. Its mission is the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect through the provision of Crisis Intervention, Family Support Services, Case Management, Parent Education Classes, and Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling Services. In the last year, FRC provided services to more than 4,500 children, adolescents and adults, with the twin goals of minimizing length of stay in foster care and reunifying families. The Family Resource Center is driven by the principle that nothing is more fundamental to a community than the safety and well being of its children. The organization seeks to prevent and change dysfunctional parent/child interaction patterns, promote positive self-concepts, and build healthy relationships.
