SCOPE Art Show preview featuring Sweatshoppe 11/18/09

WHAT: SCOPE Art Show presents a provocative performance as technology meets the streets when Bruno Levy and Blake Shaw, aka “SWEATSHOPPE,” take stage in downtown Miami’s new cultural hub for a surreal trip through experimental media, hosted by 900 Biscayne Boulevard. The artist collaboration will unveil a custom hour-long VJ/DJ set of their films using innovative software technologies, including a drum machine that redefines images in 3D space and real time stop motion cameras hidden inside face masks to create an interactive show that integrates the audience and exterior surfaces of the new residential tower. SWEATSHOPPE works at the intersection of art, music and technology and is a forecast of SCOPE, the longest running and largest fair outside of Art Basel.

Street-front performance 8-10pm
Wednesday, Nov. 18
*By invitation only on the grounds of 900 Biscayne; prime vantage points for public viewing throughout Biscayne
