Concert – Wine, Women and Song: A Performance of Women Composers
Sunday, May 3 – 3:00PM
“Who does not love wine, women and song remains a fool his whole life long,”is an endearing quote penned by Johann Heinrich Voss in the late 1700’s. Soprano Karen Neal and pianist Galina Zavaliy, bring the three elements together for an afternoon of songs by some of the greatest women composers of our time.
Entertaining, informative, and accessible to all, this event will most certainly be a celebration of three of life’s greatest pleasures. Make a date to indulge in beautiful music surrounded by outstanding works of art and top it all off with a lovely glass of wine. Exquisite!
Free with museum admission. Seating limited to first 80 guests.
We gratefully acknowledge the program’s sponsors, Alicia Aixala and Bunny Bastian
Reception following concert, generously sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Philip Davis and Señor Manuel Amor- Lastra.
