Country singer-songwriter Canaan Smith has built a career on infectious melodies, heartfelt storytelling, and the kind of high-energy live performances that make an instant connection with an audience.

A native of Williamsburg, Virginia, Canaan broke onto the national country music scene with his smash hit “Love You Like That,” which climbed all the way to #1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart and became a platinum-selling fan favorite. The song appeared on his debut album, Bronco, which showcased his signature blend of contemporary country, Southern roots, and honest, relatable songwriting.

Canaan is also an accomplished songwriter whose music has been recorded by some of country music’s biggest names. He co-wrote Love and Theft’s Top 10 hit “Runaway” and Jason Aldean’s “Black Tears,” written with Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard.

Throughout his career, Canaan has taken his music across the country, touring and performing alongside artists including Darius Rucker, Dierks Bentley and Florida Georgia Line.
