Join United Way Miami on Friday, Sept. 25 for the 2026 Celebration of Impact Awards at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove. This inspiring luncheon brings together business, civic and community leaders to recognize five individuals whose leadership and service are strengthening Miami-Dade.

This year’s recipients are Dr. Alison Thompson, founder of Third Wave Volunteers; Erin N. Kobetz, Ph.D., MPH, a University of Miami health equity leader; State Rep. Mike Redondo; Miriam Singer, president and CEO of Jewish Community Services of South Florida; and Sophia Chen, a 2026 graduate of Cutler Bay Senior High School.

Celebrate their contributions, connect with community leaders and support United Way Miami’s work to improve health and wellbeing, education, economic mobility and community resilience.
