A fun way to burn calories, learn some new moves and gain some extra sex appeal and confidence pre-Valentine’s Day, Janette Janero is bringing her one-of-a-kind Burlesque Fitness class back by popular demand. Weekly classes are now available Fridays at 3:00PM at Florida International University’s Recreation Center.

With the ultimate day of romance just around the corner, South Florida’s finest are thinking of new ways to spice up their workout routine. As if in answer to their prayers, Janette Janero, a vibrant new resource in the local health and fitness scene, is bringing her one-of-a-kind Burlesque Fitness class back by popular demand.

A fun and sexy class that actually works up a sweat, Burlesque Fitness centers around a seductive, dance-based fitness routine, meant to work and tone students’ best “assets.” Fabulous femmes (and fellas alike!) are invited to participate in this sophisticated-yet-suggestive take on the theatrical art form of dance that combines elements of acting, modeling, and dancing. Using chairs as props, the class actively targets and tones arms, abs, hips, and thighs.

Dancers will learn a full routine – whether they take it back to the bedroom is up to them!

Janette Janero, personal trainer and group fitness director at Florida International University and University of Miami, is a vibrant new resource in the South Florida fitness scene. Janero brings balance and health to her students and clients through her intense education process, which incorporates both exercise technique and the practice of healthy living, combined with a hands-on approach. As a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor, Janero teaches a variety of classes including Zumba, Spinning, Aqua Fitness, and Belly Dancing, and is also a certified holistic lifestyle coach.
