The Gulliver Preparatory Dance Club is set to host its highly anticipated 15th Annual Dancers Responding to AIDS Benefit.

Open to the public, tickets to the event can be purchased at the door on the event date for a $10.00 donation benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, which supports AIDS research, treatment and social services for those living with the disease. There are 12 dance programs participating in this non-competitive event to help generate funds for DRA and this year, an official from the DRA headquarters in New York City, Chip Beyers, will be attending. The participating programs are:

Dancers Responding to AIDS, founded in 1991 by former Paul Taylor Dance Company members Denise Roberts Hurlin and Hernando Cortez, is a program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, one of the nation’s leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations. By drawing upon the talents, resources and generosity of the American theatre and dance communities, since 1988 Broadway Cares has raised more than $225 million for essential services for people with AIDS and other critical illnesses across the United States.
