The biggest film festival for South Florida’s children and families is back! Due to last year’s success the weekend-long Festival has been extended to six days of international cinema featuring a dozen films. The festival showcases a diverse range of films for ages 3 to adult not otherwise available to Miami audiences. Children will enjoy as hands-on art workshops, parties, meet-the-filmmaker events and more. The event provides South Florida families with fun, meaningful and thought-provoking activities within a supportive community setting, while exposing children to alternative film programming that will broaden their horizons.

• 10:00 a.m. – Film Screening: “Anina” (Uruguay, Ages 9+ )
o The opening night film from 2013 makes an appearance in this years film festival. Anina, a ten-year-old girl, is given the strangest punishment in the history of all punishments – a suspended detention. Watch how she handles the strange punishment.

• 12:00 p.m. – Film Screening: “Satellite Girl and Milk Cow” (South Korea, Ages 9+ )
Florida Premiere
o The wildly entertaining film, chronicles the adventure of boy turned cow and a girl who try to save the world from a horrible monster.

• 1:00 p.m. – Stop Motion Animation Workshop
o The workshop will take place at the Coral Gables Museum.
o Admission is $25.

• 2:00 p.m. – Film Screening: “Kids Flix 2” (Multiply countries, Age 8+)
o Audience favorites and award-winning short films hand-picked from the 2015 New York International Children’s Film Festival for young children.
