One of Colombia’s hottest bands, Monsieur Periné, self-described as “experimental laboratory of popular music with an old school spirit,” led by Catalina Garcia to perform at PAX this Friday. Monsieur Periné who has once before graced the stage at PAX, will again share their unique blend of cultural, artistic, and rhythmic fusions of traditional Latin American music, Jazz, and a French adaptation of American swing deserving of its own genre “Suin a la Colombiana”.

The group just finished recording their self-produced debut album titled “Hecho a Mano” (Handmade) that features 12 original songs, including some reworked versions of the group’s YouTube hits. THe album will be available at the concert.

Monsieur Periné will perform live Friday, October 26th at 10pm. The event is sponsored by Heineken and Aguardiente. Tickets are on sale now at PAXmiami.com for $15 or can be purchased at the door for $25 which includes admission and complimentary Heineken beer starting at 9pm (while supplies last).
