Four Days Only
Eight Hilarious & Heartbreaking Short PlaysFollowed by a Wedding Reception Cabaret

Enjoy an entertaining and provocative evening featuring eight short plays on the subject of marriage equality written by some of today’s most brilliant playwrights and performed by a dynamic celebrity cast. Offering their unique takes on the moments before, during, and after saying “I do,” these prominent writers have created theater that is as insightful and stirring as it is funny and heartwarming. From the humor of Obie and Outer Critics Circle Award-winner Paul Rudnick to the dramatic intensity of Neil LaBute, and everything in between, these eight pieces reflect in a very personal, human way how two little words can suddenly change one’s entire world, and world view. From the potential spouses, to the impact vows have on friends, family and colleagues, Standing On Ceremony presents all perspectives and points of view. Witty, warm and occasionally wacky, these plays are vows to the blessings of equality, the universal challenges of relationships and the often hilarious power of love.

Performances include a post-show wedding reception complete with music and wedding cake.

STANDING ON CEREMONY will donate a portion of all proceeds to Equality Florida
