Wine by the Bay presents “Flavors of Spain” – a Spanish tapas and wine tasting party with a performance by the Gypsy Cat Band. The Downtown Miami wine and art boutique will also exhibit works of Spanish artist, Antoni Amat.
The cost to attend is $20.00 per person and RSVP is required by either calling 305.455.9791 or emailing info@winebtb.com. Space is limited.

Led by guitarist Carl Ferrari and dancer Ana Miranda, the Gypsy Cat Band is a group of world class artists who fuse Flamenco with the music of the Americas to create a dynamic show that captivates and inspires. It was born out of the duos interest in the connection between Flamenco and jazz, blues, rock and Latin American music. Ferrari and Miranda have drawn from their diverse artistic experience to distill these genres, creating a style that encapsulates the melting pot that represents Miami urban life.

Group members have worked with established artists in the fields of jazz, rock, Latin American music and Flamenco, bringing a unique and fresh perspective to the blend of these genres. The group has performed at the Hollywood Beach Latin Festival, Jazz Brunch at Riverwalk, and has been active in the Miami music scene. Ferrari and Miranda have presented their original choreography and music score, “Blues de las Ramblas” for the Field at Camposition Studios and for the Karen Peterson’s Emerging Choreography Showcase.

Opened in January, 2012, Wine by the Bay is situated directly across the street from the American Airlines Arena in the Marina Bluecondominium. The store offers a quality selection of wine, exotic beer, and Champagne that fits all budgets. Area residents are offered free delivery with the purchase of 6 bottles of wine or more.

Commenting on his Downtown location, owner Stefano Campanini remarks: “I love the crowd and the energy. Having an art and wine store across from the new Miami Art Museum and Science Museum, next to Genting Resorts World Miami, and the Freedom Tower is beyond what I could have ever imagined. Many upscale restaurants and bars have moved their headquarters here because it will be the top area in our city. This vibe can’t be found anywhere else in Miami.”

Wine by the Bay’s boasts an eye-pleasing setting – a bright and open contemporary space with floor to ceiling windows that look directly out on to beautiful Biscayne Bay. As well as weekly wine tastings, the boutique exhibits the work of both local and international artists, and holds poetry readings, film screenings, and other cultural events.
