Kick off Art Basel on Thursday, Dec. 1 with the world premiere of Isaiah Seret and Neckface’s Born Under a Bad Sign, presented by Friends of Gusman’s KnightARTS Red Curtain Series, Onward + Forward, and the Hole Gallery. Event sponsored by Peroni.

Doors open at 10:30 p.m. with a pre-film VIP champagne reception with director Isaiah Seret.

World premiere screening of Born Under a Bad Sign at 11:30 p.m.

Salem takes the stage at midnight for their live performance debut in Miami.

And all of it happens at the magical, wonderful, historic Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center in our very own Downtown Miami, “whose rococo, faux-Starry-Night interiors should lend an extra level of surrealness to the proceedings” (thx Beached Miami http://bit.ly/tILJZh)

(psst – it probably goes without saying, but…NOTHING LIKE THIS HAS EVER BEEN DONE BEFORE AT THE GUSMAN! Whoa!)

This is one party you won’t want to miss (thx New Times http://bit.ly/uOmcw2)

After that, $15 general admission, OR join Friends of Gusman with a $100 annual donation and receive two VIP admissions (and other perks throughout the year!).

Official after party: Special Disco Version at Grand Central.

Host Committee: Scott Cunningham; Dulce Duran; Lauren Fernandez; Jessica Goldfin; Rodrigo Gonzalez; Ohad Jehassi; Julia Kim; Lucas Leyva; Jay Lundy; Natalia Napoleon; Lolo Reskin; Eric Schoenborn; Leo Zabezhinsky; George Zarahatos
