Cafeina, in conjunction with Supermarket Creative, is proud to present the debut of its weekly garden-and-gallery breakfast series “Brunch N’ Bazaar” on Sunday, February 20, 2011, featuring a pop-up restaurant in the gallery that allows for indoor dining and an open-air market curated by New York-based Launche Arte. Guests will enjoy a newly designed menu by Executive Chef Leo Gutierrez that includes both health-conscious and hangover-cure selections, along with $20/two-hour unlimited mimosas. DJ duo Ess & Emm will direct the musical score, ranging from Brazilian Jazz to French Pop, while patrons shop and indulge in additional treats including table-side Bloody Mary’s, ‘made your way’ by Cafeina’s team of mixologists.

Chef Leo has created two distinct menus for the Wynwood lounge and gallery’s first daytime series, each crafted to satisfy a specific craving. The “Conscious” menu aims to indulge the healthy soul, offering refreshing brunch dishes including Shrimp Ceviche, marinated with passion fruit, red pepper, jalapeno, cilantro, red onion and avocado; and Baked Apple-Cinnamon French Toast, made on whole wheat bread and served with seasonal berries. The “Hangover” selections, made to absorb the affects of one’s pre-brunch vices, includes hearty dishes such as Pan-seared T-Bone Rib Eye, served with grilled asparagus, fried eggs and roasted tomato sauce; and The Boss Omelet, a combination of manchego cheese, ham, fresh tomato sauce and toast. Guests are also encouraged to bring their pets and enjoy pooch-friendly gourmet offerings including Lite Chicken & Veggies, served with brown rice, as well as Oatmeal Berries & Biscuits, made with whole wheat flower.

Cafeina mixologsts will also offer refreshing libations such as Blueberry Ginger Bellini pitchers; Cute Cumber martinis, made with gin, St. Germain liqueur, lime juice and simple syrup; and the Bloody Maria, a south-of-the-border interpretation of the classic Bloody Mary, served with tequila and garden varietals. Additional brunch refreshments include a full coffee selection and a variety of natural juices and smoothies.

Founded in New York City by Alex Pabon and Chelsea Conklin in April 2010, Launche Arte aims to give artists, designers and entrepreneurs an outlet to be discovered. The Miami bazaar will be housed within Cafeina’s lush 5,000-square-foot garden with over 15 vendors showcasing a variety of products including: jewelry and accessories, vintage, fashion, floral, pastries and an international news-stand. The first installment will include crystal retailer and tarot card reader Donna Hughes; handmade silk dresses by SeaSatin Couture; designer menswear such as Alexander McQueen and Dsquared, sold by Beau Beasley; and watches by Time-Peace, amongst others.
