About the Florida Solar Energy Center
The mission of the Florida Solar Energy Center is to research and develop energy technologies that enhance Florida’s and the nation’s economy and environment and to educate the public, students and practitioners on the results of the
research. Kevin Shleith, a Project Specialist at Florida Solar Energy Center, will be presenting a lecture on how to weatherize and make existing homes more energy efficient. He will be showing examples and results from the Center’s activities this summer on home weatherization in Florida.
Branch members will elect Executive Committee officers and appoint a representative to the USGBC South Florida Chapter Board of Directors.
