Beethoven is back! Beethoven on the Beach, Orchestra Miami’s popular series of free outdoor concerts returns! This year’s soloists are husband and wife duo Karen Lord Powell & Brian Powell, performing Bottesini’s Gran Duo Concertante for Violin and Bass.

Also on the program is Beethoven’s joyous Symphony N. 7 in A Major, Op. 92, the rarely heard Overture, Scherzo & Finale by Robert Schumann and the fun and raucous Overture to Il Signor Bruschino by Rossini. The 36 musicians of Orchestra will be led by Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi.

This is a free concert with donations gratefully accepted. Sponsored by the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Free parking is available in the Gateway Park garage. Food & drinks available for purchase; there’s a playground for the kids! Chairs are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own blanket or lawn chair.
