Gulfstream Park’s 2025–2026 Championship Meet kicks off Thanksgiving Day, November 27, and runs through March 29, bringing world-class Thoroughbred racing, star-studded events, and unforgettable experiences to South Florida.
The highlight of the season is the 10th Pegasus World Cup Invitational Series on Saturday, January 24, featuring seven graded races and $5.55 million in purses, including the $3 million Pegasus World Cup (G1) and $1 million Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational (G1). Pegasus has become as much a cultural spectacle as a racing event, with past performances by Post Malone, Calvin Harris, and Snoop Dogg, as well as appearances from celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Camila Cabello, and Pharrell Williams. Expect more of the same star power in 2026 as Pegasus celebrates its 10th year.
The action continues with the 75th Curlin Florida Derby on Saturday, March 28. Known as a launchpad for Triple Crown champions, the Derby anchors a day of 10 stakes races worth $2.45 million in purses.
From Thanksgiving weekend through spring, Gulfstream Park will host 68 stakes races totaling $15.2 million, making it one of the most exciting destinations for both racing fans and Miami’s social scene.

The Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust Sprint for Seniors Bed Race brings Miamians together to rally behind a serious cause and raise vital funds to support older adults experiencing homelessness.

The fact is, more than one in three unhoused individuals in Miami-Dade are over the age of 55 and this race, sponsored by the Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust, addresses big needs by helping to get these vulnerable individuals off the streets and into stable housing.

Proceeds will go directly toward meeting seniors’ unique needs, from securing housing to providing essentials to help make a house a home.

So let’s go! Build a bed and build a better future for unhoused Miamians.
