homework, the nomadic gallery celebrating emerging artists from around the globe, will present “Trains of Thought,” a solo exhibition by South Florida-based artist Richard Vergez, during Miami Art Week 2022. Opening at The Knoxon located at 7411 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33138 on Wednesday, November 30 at 6pm, the show will run through Saturday, December 3rd, with various activations planned throughout its run including DJ activations, video screenings, and a panel with industry professionals. More info about activations below.

“Trains of Thought” collects the Cuban-American artist’s mixed-media collages and installations of trains, aiming to reveal the way these vehicles interact with our lives, both physically and metaphorically. These works resonate deeply in a city like Miami, which continues to suffer from a massive deficit in public transit options that might be alleviated by an increased investment in trains.
