A Fully Staged Production of a classic Opera favorite, with contemporary staging, under the musical direction of Jared Peroune, and stage direction of Megan Barrera, with piano and choir.
Featuring soloists Nathalie Ávila as Mimi, Herman Diaz as Rodolfo, Lucia Panizza as Musetta , José Vazquez as Marcello, Kevin Wheatle as Schaunard, Johan Hartman as Colline, Ismael Gonzalez as Benoît/Alcindoro, and Andres Lasaga as Parpignol.
In Paris during a harsh winter, four poor artists sharing a small apartment go through the struggle of making ends meet and avoiding eviction, while navigating their own love stories. Marcello, the painter, is passionately in love with Musetta, but her flirty Parisian nature drives Marcello to constant jealousy. Rodolfo, the writer, meets Mimi, a neighbor from the same building, when she knocks on their door looking for a candle. They fall in love, but soon it becomes evident that Mimi is seriously ill.
