On The Stage At Viernes Culturales

Tony Swing
The talented merenguero Tony Swing will bring the flavor of the Dominican Republic to Viernes Culturales. Ex-member of world renowned bands like Oro Solido and Pochy y la Coco band, Tony’s swing will spark up the night with the festive flair of contagious merengue. In his unique style, he embraces traditional merengue with merengue ripiao, adding a touch of urban flavor. This all around entertainer is currently filming a movie and is also an outstanding choreographer.

GMoss Urban Classy Fashion Show
Gmoss Designs provides graphic, realistic and cartoon illustrations and technical fashion design services. The fashion show will showcase an original and unique style to engage the youth and young adult markets. The “Gmoss Seek Eternal Purpose” line is an urban/anime/comic book influenced line of art, clothing, and accessories based the short novel “The Chronicles of Ann & Lo” written and illustrated by George Moss. www.gmossdesign.com was created to encourage youth to work hard, use their talents, and seek their eternal purpose.

Daniella Viotti
The Living Statue Performer, has been mesmerizing crowds at Viernes Culturales for many years. Daniela is a statue and award winning sculptor. She loves performing as a Living Statue at Viernes Culturales and giving so much positive energy to all that stop and pose with her!

Samaris Cassano – Mistress of Ceremony
Puerto Rican born and raised, Samaris is a talented singer, published author and radio personality. She is delighted to be working with us to help guide your Viernes Culturales experience.

Legendary local historian Dr. Paul George leads a walking tour of Little Havana each month. Learn the fascinating details about Little Havana’s history, people and places. This month’s tour will focus on Historic Shenandoah neighborhood. This special tour is educational, interesting and absolutely free. Learn of when Calle Ocho was a dirt road known in some parts as Orange Gable Road. See the site of historic Blecher Homestead and the historig Bridage 2506 Museum.

Viernes Culturales Art Gallery Presents Natalie Nauta

Natalie’s profound appreciation and love for her environment expresses itself through an artistic use of paint textures and a saturated, and somewhat explosive use of color. To all cinema lovers: We would like to invite you to discover one of Miami’s best-kept secrets, the historic Tower Theater. Enjoy top-quality foreign or independent films, film premiers, and even an art exhibition.
