Stuart’s Wild Ride Serves the South Florida Triathlon & Cycling Community
Boca Raton’s Exclusive Cervélo Cycles Showroom opens Saturday November 26

After 50 years as an avid tennis player and owner of the popular pro shop in Boca Raton, Stuart Abramson’s attention turned to cycling and soon he became quite passionate about the sport. While friends and fans know him from Stuart’s Of Boca as “the tennis guy,” all that will change this Saturday, November 26 when he launches Stuart’s Wild Ride at a Grand Opening Celebration from 2-4pm. The world’s first Cervélo concept store debuts at 8177 West Glades Road in the West Boca Place Shopping Center. Selling the elite racing brand Cervélo as well as upscale riding attire, helmets and gear, the new bike outpost is modeled after the top European cycling shops.

“I visited cycling shops all over the USA – attended the Interbike Show in the US and Eurobike in Germany – my interest became a passion, an obsession!” Determined to improve his performance, Abramson, who just celebrated his 60th birthday, wanted to purchase a Cervélo cycle but quickly discovered there was no place to actually test ride an assembled bike. “They offered to take my measurements and order one for me, but that just was not good enough.” Cervélo offers both road and time trial bikes which Stuart’s Wild Ride will feature along with Look, Pinarello and Scott cycles, premium wheels by Zipp and Mad Fibre plus pedals by Look and Speedplay.

Determined to provide the styles, selection and service for cycling connoisseurs just like him, Stuart’s Wild Ride offers an in-stock selection of Cervélo bikes and employs Nick Yanarella, a full time certified fit technician who utilizes the high tech RETÃœL system in the shop to craft a precision ride. The store is outfitted with a state-of-the-art 32″ video monitor that riders can view while utilizing the RETÃœL 3D Capture Bike Fit System. Avid cyclists know that highly accurate bike fit data can maximize their performance, improve riding efficiency and prevent the joint injury that is most common with ill-fitted bikes.

Later in the season, Garmin-Cervélo Team Rider Tom Danielson is scheduled to visit Stuart’s Wild Ride to interact with his fans and sign autographs. Danielson joined the team in 2008 and ranked as the top American in the 2011 Tour de France, finishing 9th overall. Because Cervélo makes the best selling Tri bikes, Stuart’s will also sell Tri Wear and shoes by Zoots, Sidi, Fizik and Giro alongside Italian cycling attire by Castelli and Assos clothing from Switzerland. Cycling fans can follow the progress at Stuart’s Wild Ride at Facebook.com/StuartsWildRide and join in the shop’s launch celebration Saturday November 26 from 2-4pm.
