In keeping with his mission to have Rick Ross Charities serve as a catalyst to inspire and uplift today’s youth, Rick Ross is gearing up for the charity’s annual free community event, the 3rd Annual Rick Ross Be Out Day. On Wednesday, August 4, 2010 from 1pm – 5pm the City of North Miami Office of the City Clerk, The Children’s Trust and The Urban League of Greater Miami will present the annual back to school initiative with Rick Ross Charities at the North Miami Athletic Stadium located at 2555 NE 151 Street.

Rick Ross Be Out Day is a fun day with a purpose. To get the children motivated about going back to school, the students receive complimentary back packs, school supplies and education advocacy from their favorite recording artists and local leaders all while enjoying a fun day at the park. This year, Rick Ross will be joined by his Maybach Music Group Family, Waka Flocka Flame, South Florida Home Team favorites, WEDR 99 Jamz and several surprise guest appearances.

The “party where the community comes together for a day of food, fun and music from the Boss and his celebrity friends” like the Miami New Times describes Rick Ross’ Be Out Day has served over 3,500 children with school supplies and health screenings. City of North Miami City Clerk Alix Desulme adds, “We’re proud of celebrities like Rick Ross who understand we all have to do our part to assist in providing much needed resources to the children of our community”. Be Out Day is sponsored in party by The Children’s Trust, Chef Creole Restaurant, ExclusiveAccess.net, Chop Shop, Beautiful People Miami, Keeping It Real With Della, Lex Promotions and a host of others.
